¿Lucy? You’re so right! Wonsang, Lucy’s bassist and producer, is part of the production team for this song! Lucy’s members are really good friends with Doyoung. Also, he used to be in a band during his high school years, and he really loves band music. He said he always wanted to go back to this type of music, that reminds him so much of his younger years (Youth 😊).

when you said ‘very theatrical’ i chuckled a bit bcs Doyoung acted in Musical Theater in korea for Marie Antoinette as Axel von Fersen (Marie’s lover) and i watched it when it was showing and boy oh boy, this man has a really compatible voice for musical bcs he has a really good resonance(🤭) and control on his vocal. i cried during their first few concerts bcs during sad/slow song he sang like he’s divorced 7 times and lost all his children’s custody

What you interpret is true i believe it that way since Doyoung said it himself that the song conveyed the meaning he would like to encourage the audiences to be hopeful. you yourself can be a main character in your life, chasing for your dream. Personally, i think he refers to himself as well just like when he was young and tried to pursue his dream and finally he proved that it can be true.😊 this song is very poetic just like to say, i recommend you to check out for the whole album. Its very impressive and beautiful.

AY-YOOOOOO I GOT CHILLS WHEN YOU SAID THIS SONG REMINDS YOU WITH LUCYY!!!!! LUCY’s Wonsang actually wrote, composed, and arranged THIS song!!!! If I’m not wrong, LUCY and Doyoung met months ago and there were some speculation about some featuring or project together back then but then it turn into friendship but we just kinda let it go. Nctzens were really thrilled when we found out that our Favorite Raccoon help our Favorite Rabbit on his solo debut!!! You should check the rest of the Album bcs he got a song featuring NCT Mark AND King Taeyeon!!!

Wow you have great ear! Lucy member Wonsang-nim wrote and composed this for Doyoung! And as Doyoung used to do band before debut (in high school) he always wanted to go back to his roots and most of the initial planning for the themes, sound, and even promo was done by him! So please react to the album too! It's magnificent! Fun Fact: Doyoung is actually really good friends with all the Lucy members and he even invited them to the last NCT 127 concert in Seoul!
