I'm Italian, and this series was BIG in Italy in the 90s. In Italian it's titled "La Signora del West" ("The Lady of the West"). I remember my dad complaining because "No way the doctor's little sister can be interested in Loren, the age gap is too big!"... while the two actors were married in real life! I just finished watching the entire six seasons with a couple of friends, several episodes every Friday night. We used the pandemic as an excuse because we're all single (I'm a widow), but we would have done so without the pandemic, too. They still say it saved their lives because the stay-at-home order was incredibly lonely for a lot of us, and we got to be really good friends. We have the two movies to watch next. Then we're going on to _Roots_ (we love Regé-Jean Page) and then _Starman,_ both the movie and the one TV season, and then _West Wing,_ which two of us have never seen before. Oh, we started out watching all five seasons of _Poldark_ before the pandemic. Aidan Turner, yum! :)

@@MrSPHANDLE It's on Amazon Prime, and you'll actually see the episodes without the cuts Hallmark has or any other TV stations that air it. They have to fit in their commercials after all. I have the entire set on DVD. It's well worth it. It's not something I'll ever get really tired of. I don't watch it all the time, but friends have been interested, so we've gone through all six seasons twice now since I first got them. The episode I’m referring to happened just after the change between Erika and Jessica. It took me a long time to warm up to Jessica Bomans portrayal of Colleen, to this day I can’t watch that episode without cringing.

What about Grace and Robert E? I can't believe they left out the ONLY two black people on the show.

I have all the seasons and both movies on my computer and watch it every night, from the first on through, then over again! Seriously addicted! I loved most all the characters for one thing or another but William Shockley was a favorite, of course Joe Lando, Larry Sellers, Henry Sanders, Jonelle Allen......okay, pretty much the whole cast!! 😄
