She clearly didn't want to talk about politics and stated precisely why yet somehow that went on for five minutes.

It's so damn easy for Americans in certain places like NY to see old movies or smaller movies. I live in the UK the only films that come to a cinema near me are the big blockbusters and the occasional Oscar-type movie like Nightcrawler, Nocturnal Animals etc and i cant even get on the Criterion Streaming Service because it's currently US only. I have to either buy the DVD's which are expensive most of the time, or just not watch them and it sucks.

I didn't vote Trump, but what's Dave gonna do when he brings up the "unfortunate results of the election", and the interviewee defiantly disagrees? It's unlikely to happen, but it would make for very refreshing conversation, and I'd like to see it.

DP/30: The Oral History Of Hollywood ah man can't believe that, he is the funniest guy alive. And a bloody awesome actor and director! That's so disappointing to hear, keep trying and hope he lets you do an interview soon. Half an hour with Bateman would be so good . 6 passes. Wow. That's something. I wonder why he passes he is an interesting guy and a sharp conversationalist .... And ur page is amazing the people are so interesting and its exciting to see such great people talking about their life and thoughts. Good going for you and all of us who get to watch!

Hate today it as I love your videos but the start is out of focus. I'll continue watching now. I can still enjoy the interview though, just watch for this next time.

It turns out it is actually a setting on the camera that softens it up. It was focused. And while I kind of think it fits Greta, it was unintended, not apparent in the viewfinder, and unfortunate.

DP/30: The Oral History Of Hollywood I agree that it kinda suits Greta's laid back salt of the earth personality. I came to try to delete my comment after watching for a while and being a little hypnotised by it, as I subsequently felt I was a bit nitpicky, but you replied before I got there. The force is strong with you David :D Keep up the great work.
@dp30
@dp30 7 жыл бұрын
You are not the only one with the issue... deserved a response. Truth be told, I would have fixed it if I had known that setting was on. But given the unusual way I decided to shoot the whole thing and that it is Greta's 6th DP/30, I'll chalk it up to a quirk of fate. Still love her brain.

If this is a 'flat' 'no sharpening' mode your camera was in then you have not lost any detail. It's how all professional grade film makers shoot. You do the sharpening, and colour grading in Post. It's actually how you get the highest quality out of a camera.
