I think the best thing is how he's one of the few people these days that remain a REAL human being. People call it ecentricities but that's bullshit, he mantains that real artistic spark and nurtures it in a way. He has this real otherworldly sparkle in his eye that's very genuine amd honest but at the same time doesn't give to much of a shit exept for what really emotionally draws him and only puts energy into those on his boat.

Tim Burton, John Carpenter and James Cameron are my favourite filmmakers. There are many other directors I admire and respect, but these three are my all-time best. Love Tim! Cannot wait for Beetlejuice 2.

You get such great guests. Thank you very much for putting all these up. I especially enjoyed the one with Teller because so infrequently do we get to hear him speak, and he's such a brilliant man.

I went to see Big Eyes today and I loved everything about the movie. The cinematography. the story. the acting, all simply amazing. Well done Tim! I wonder how much it cost to make this movie?

By the way, Big fish is one of my favorite movies of all times. I find that in the interview I kind see Edward Scissor-hands all over again. I always wondered how does Edward go to the bathroom? Yes, I saw the Seinfeld episode. lol

As someone who doesn't live in an English-speaking country, I was a little disappointed that this video did not introduce the story-line of "Big Eyes." However, that said, I was very impressed with Tim Burton, who--unlike so many film directors--is *not* full of himself and does not have what Americans call "attitude."

Tim is truly a great genius because he got short little Mr. Mom to look like a superhero. Nobody else could have done that. As we used to say back then, "Most directors would have a better chance of making DIANE Keaton into Batman!"

Anyone else not impressed by the distortion of truth to fit the hollywood agenda? Nice cinematography but the facts were changed/made up to make the story more dramatic and more convenient. Making sure the "bad guy" Walter was bad in a black and white way, and Margaret pristine perfect - good in every way. Over-acted bad-guy Walter in the courtroom scene towards the end. Overdone. Since this movie came out, information has emerged that Walter thought of the big eyes, but the movie says Margaret was doing it before she met him. He didn't have the technical skill but he had the vision. Walter is dead, so can't provide his side. We all know she painted, but where would she be without Walter? Life is more complicated than a fairytale Burton film, and something like this deserves accuracy and truth.
@AndrewStClair-gp6cg9 жыл бұрын
+chaiTV Information has also emerged that Walter had a cure for cancer, but lost it in the court battle.
@AndrewStClair-gp6cg9 жыл бұрын
+chaiTV Yeah. I saw that too. It seems if you look around enough, you'll find information about anything and anyone. It all has to be true, otherwise such information would never exist.
@saywhatagainidareyouidoubl76988 жыл бұрын
chaiTV This movie is 99% accurate said by Margaret herself what her word isn't enough for you? Walter had the opportunity to draw it in court and he didn't he was guilty I think you're just doubting her
