He is a brilliant actor. You need to see Gone Baby Gone, Ocean's Trilogy and The Assassination of Jesse James. Amazing films

Mara is great in this movie I'm surprised she didn't get any awards attention.

They're starring together again in an upcoming movie "A Ghost Story". It's going to be released on July 7, 2017. Definitely waiting to check it out!

She reminds me of myself, quiet, placid and somewhat reclusive but at the same time when she's in her moment she's fantastic

Sadly, Cannes is a place of junkets, not DP/30s... so we will try to make longer form interviews work in the months to come.

Worst questions ever. This interviewer is like the annoying guy next to the bathroom hallway just asking and asking and asking, and hey man look I got to go get a drink...

It’s cool that Casey has been good friends with Joaquin Pheonix for a while and now Rooney is engaged to him
@tatum27393 жыл бұрын
Casey was married to Joaquins sister. They ended up divorcing. Joaquin hasn’t spoken to Casey in years

She always seems so cold and aloof to me. Thankfully she showed emotion in the film. Casey seems somewhat disinterested here. I agree, the questions were dull.

A lot of people say that of her. Should read this article: www.nytimes.com/2013/08/22/t-magazine/this-is-rooney-mara.html Its so weird how quiet can come off as bitchy. smh
@oxford93817 жыл бұрын
There's no need to be so defensive. You're the one who used the B-word. And obviously it's the impression she likes to convey, as your article covers. "Aloof, icy, playful, curious, remote, opaque, funny, shy, distant, nice, impenetrable, guarded, unreadable. Rooney Mara happens to be all of these things."
@kelm007 жыл бұрын
sorry, I didn't mean to sound defensive. It's hard to convey tone. I just saying it matter-of-fact-ly. It's also a great article/interview about/with her.

Is too cringy to carry on I feel sorry for actors who have to do these mundane, stupid sit downs with guy's like this fella. Ugh !
