The fact that he directed Hotel Transylvania was the main reason why I went to the theater to see it over the opening weekend, and I was not disappointed.

Genndy. I will be I little bold on this. There was Tex, Chuck Jones, Disney, Hanna, Barbera... You are on the list man...Love your work from a long time. I hope you have more features to work on as well one day can your for your company. Great great animator and director. BTW Hotel Transylvania was AWESOME!!

i don't agree with him saying it doesn't really look much like his style of animation because it's CGI. I think a lot of the actual movement and posing is really indicative of it being directed by Genndy.

The film went through 5 directors between 2006 to 2011, even if critics don't like it Genndy did pushed how to make CGI more loose to fun along with the great folks at Sony Imageworks.

C.J. O'Dell I had no idea this movie was done by Gennedy at the time. the humor and art direction seemed familiar and once I found out this was a movie done by him that's what made this extra special.

What I like about his work most is the way he makes his characters. The way they look seems to tell what their personalities are like without having to give long descriptions (like the "big 3" animes (One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach) have a nasty habit of doing over and over, but that's another story). I would love to see that Samurai Jack movie, but I would especially like to see those Sym-Bionic Titan episodes. Hotel Transylvania, I have to watch before I can judge, but I'll probably like it.

Hotel Transylvania was a lot of fun and I'm glad that Genndy can make a movie about Popeye, his favorite character. Samurai Jack is a personal favorite of mine :)

does anybody know Genndy's email address? i wanted to ask him have he ever thought of talking to cartoon network about starting a kick starter fundraiser for Sym bionic titan. it hurts me to see the hero of my childhood work and talent go to waste just because cn wants to be greedy. it was and always will be a great show. something i could actually watch and enjoy for once like his other creations. if anybody knows pls tell me or pass on the word. i'm still mad and i won't let the cancellation go!

It would be almost impossible for Cartoon Network to start new episodes, they wrote the show off as a loss and now would have to go wading through red tape to make new episodes.
