I watch this movie over and over again because, watching Casey act, is like listening to a skilled musician over and over.

I wish your conversation with Casey was 3-4 hours, because you're one of the smartest interviewer that I ever watch and Casey seem like a very nice and interesting guy! Absolutely love his performance in "Manchester by the sea", so it's great to see him talking about all this stuff. Even if that interview was 6 hours long or more I swear I would still watching it.

My, my, my! What started out as a quality interview with an exceptional talent (exactly what I've come to expect from this channel) turned into a reflective and revealing conversation by the end! Mr. Affleck has a very feline masculinity (reminiscent to me of Roy Scheider). His demeanor is strangely calming. I hope you were able to speak with Ms. Williams about this film! Many thanks ! Cheers!
@Rob-sk1im8 жыл бұрын
Your comment is very interesting. I'd always thought Mr. Scheider had that ability to tell you so much without uttering a word. Casey is fortunate to have that same quality in his tool bag.

Love this Interview! Thank you for posting it to KZbin. Nice to enjoy an in depth conversation with way cool Casey Affleck😎-about very many different parts of movie making. Things I never knew. And of course the Masterpiece known as Manchester By the Sea. One of my all time forever favorite movies. It is true-so true how much feelings-memories-flashbacks- a person can hold inside themselves-and how hidden someone can be to others. Those memories can become a respite and safe harbor-a way to dive down deep and get away from the pain of the reality they may be experiencing-it becomes a matter of survival at times to close oneself off from the world. I was blindsided by that movie and felt as if someone had literally seen straight into my soul. It hit me hard. The movie is pure brilliance. And of course, there are so many more films Casey does that are not circling the inferno of grief. Wild Irish Blessings to Brilliant Actor and all around Super Cool person Casey Affleck. Stay Golden 🏆🙏💪😎🍀 ~

Never really took a great deal of interest in Casey because of Ben. I've just seen Manchester by the sea in 2021 and was blown away so wanted to hear what Casey said about it. This is a great interview. Casey is very intelligent, articulate, sincere and athoughtful person who appears happy in his own skin. Yet there's more to him than that ...more depth to his character. Understated charisma if there is such a thing.
