After following Kenyan politics for quite some time now, I have come to the conclusion that Kenya must change its constitution and do away with this running mate thing. Any president must be allowed to choose his deputy whom he can fire any time so that the vision of the president can be fulfilled. As it is now, the deputy can spend the whole month in the street doing rallies, and at the end of the month, he gets a salary.
