From two people of same height, one may feel comfortable and one may not. Do you agree ? So there is no positive or negative reply to this. And this purchase is not 100-200 bucks. You will put in a lot of hard earned money. So according to me, it's always good to take a test ride yourself and decide and check on comfort level.

Ye bike off road ke liye nahi hai. Aap abs off nahi kar sakte. But fir bhi sport mode use kar sakto ho, usme ABS strong nahi hai. Abs rain mode me strong chalega 😀

Hi Dipen, Thanks for the information. In my RTR gear shift indicator doesn't work at all in sport mode. It will be always be red irrespective of my gear and speed combination. It works fine in urban and rain mode. Even the service center guy is clueless.Can you suggest any fix fir this.

In Sport, It should go off after 6000 RPM. in urban and rain its 3000 RPM

why is there vibration creeps on 5.5k to 6k in urban mode and need to shift gear frequently, and it doesnt reach to rpm limiter easily i.e.8k to 9k?

Get your bike checked. All nuts n bolts tightened. Keep the chain well lubed. And non dense vibes on my bike. To some extent they will be there, that's because it's a single cylinder bike.

Not normal, if you are not in dense traffic and if you are not braking constantly. Yes get it checked. Right upto the calliper and abs too.

Hello dipen sir. I have purchased apache 2004v bs6 on 21st June. Its not rto passed aa of now. Bcos of the pandemic. They handed me over the bike without temporary registeration no. Can I still ride it? Also, my Vehicle is set to urban mode. They told me all the features would be activated after 1st service. Is that the case? My bike doesn't go above 6k rpm in urban mode( only mode I can use now) bike can't even go above 70-80kmph in 5th gear. Also the heating issue is serious. I drove yesterday for 45 mins and when I tried to touch the engine, I couldn't touch it for even half a second. It felt like touching the ironing press. Please help. I don't know what to do. Showroom mechanic told me it's all normal but I don't think so. Its my first bike I don't have much of bike knowledge. Even in 5th gear it doesn't speed up more than 60kmph, I know I shouldn't cross speed more than 50. I only tried once. Its heating seriously. Also tell me about other modes activation. Odometer speedometer everything is locked. Nothing is showing on instrument cluster except for rpm and gear changing info. Rest is nothing activated. Please help sir. I'm seriously worried about this issue. I think dealer cheated. Thank you sir

I went to showroom today and told them everything they told me it will all go away after 1st servicing. I drove for 2-3km with mechanic and temp rose to about 80degrees. They told me it's normal since it's a 200cc bike.

They told me company has set the setting so the speed won't go above a certain limit. In my case, above 70. Is that true?

@@Nimbusdraws you have taken delivery of a unregistered bike. That's illegal. If you get caught you will have a heavy fine and the showroom can be shut down too. If the bike crosses 100 kms on odo , before registering, then its illegal. And above are the issues as I shared. Once your bike is registered, showroom will connect all the sockets, and bike will be fine post that. All speedo and modes will work fine. Bike heating when it's new is common. Yes you cannot touch it like that. But to cross check verify oil level when the bike is cold. Park it overnight on main stand. In the morning take it off the stand. Keep it upright. Both the tyres touching the ground. Not on side stand. And then check oil level. Also above all, do not ride the bike till it is registered. It's illlegal. 😀 Hope this helps.

Regarding the speed and rpm issue, is that normal? Abs light and engine malfunction light is always on. They said they didn't fit all socket so it's showing. Is that also alright?

refer the above reply once more for your questions regarding the RPM issue, ABS light issue etc. I have already answered about the sockets. And Again riding in local area is also illegal without number. . Just FYi. if cops catch you and if they are very strict, you and showroom both will be in trouble. (just to inform you). and if no one catches, then its a jack pot. So dont take me otherwise. :)

Guys facing tappet noise issue in New rtr2004v bs6 ride mode, while the vehicle is on move like, tik tik sound and no solution from service centre. Any solution?

Solution is with TVS itself. Four stroke bikes have tapets. And they need to be adjusted after certain hundre kms. Get back to nearest workhsop and ask them to do taper setting. Get back here and let us know once it is done.

is old engine oil suitable for apache chains?

By Old, do you mean used or old by Shelf life, both would be alright. Except used ones, just make sure you have done proper Sedimentation and Filteration. I do use old oil too. but it does not last long on the chains. it will need frequent lubing. thicker the oil, longer it will stay on the chain. e.g. 140 grade Gear oil.

@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs last time I asked a local mechanic to lube it. he lubed it I think with grease and engine oil which led to a huge collection of sludge when i opened the front sproket for cleaning after 500 km. But I don't know if that is a good combo for lubing or not. I use gear 90 oil whenever I do the lubing.

@ReallyInterestingName yes that's a good combo too. Pre-ORing days, we lubed it that way, when bikes had full chain covers. But these days, since chain covers are open or don't exist, greese can fly off very easily since it's heavy. You can skip to avoid the mess at rear end. Else do clean it every month from the front sprocket section.

I believe before 1st service the bike does heats up a bit I have around 150kms and after 5 10 mins of riding bike heats up which is normal but as I said before 1st service it might heat up a bit more than normal, till now everything is good so let's hope for the best

Sir i have the same bike in white done 400kilometers. You Also posted some pics in Facebook groups. I also send you a request in Facebook. Please accept that if possible. Name is Aneek Sarkar. I have sone little issue like some noise from Engine. Gear shift is hard from 2 to 3rd. 3rd to 4th 4th to 5th are smooth. Self start is taking 1 second after heating to start.

Get your bike to service. Ask them to fix things. If you have moved from smaller cc to this one, feel and things will be 100% different. So don't expect the same things of your previous smaller bike. Also like I said I. The video. Compare your bike with another apache around. And finally if service is not able to fix things, write to TVS. They surely will help out.
