He just said in his live stream that we haven't seen the hybrid yet and the one in red robe behind the console is Insanity getting some hybrid powers I think. Which is crazy because I also thought ohh blue eyes must be hybrid but aparently Its hybrid influencing Ian. I could never emagine something so awesome and creative if he didn't tell us I would have never figured it out. Sometimes I feel like the lore is too much for my brain... Oh and the one with the sword and the wings is Mito just in the past those are suposed to be flashbacks.

I have some of the same theories as you… first, welcome to the other side! These are the sounds of the critters he hears in his lucid dreams… I don’t think the Mito with the grill is hybrid… at the end to me is hybrid. He’s the mix of Mito before he meets insanity through the transitions. I think the sword is like a key to bring Ian out of the hybrid state… Mito stops hybrid from orchestrating that chaos and the sword pulls him back into shadows, then insanity shows up. I think this new character could be Miss insanity/ miss understood at the very end.

Cuz he explained a lot abt the whole lore ; also interesting thing about his characters that he said is that he sorts them by colors: -insanity: gold/violet/green -mito: black/white/red - hybrid : green/red/ blue (the primary colors, think about the lyrics of no bluberries "tell me what’s in your eyes baby" :)) ) Also, he said that the hybrid is not a mix of insanity and mito; it’s more like Mito and Insanity have a bit of the hybrid in them, which can be seen also in the colors as well! Ian was speaking in his live about the eclipse being the moment of the hybrid. I think you are right that the arrival of the eclipse is the change from MITO to Insanity and back, but this moment of anarchist darkness, as so clearly shown in Limbo, is the time when the Hybrid, in his varied forms, comes out to wreak havoc.

Blue is Hybrid, so yes, I believe this is the hybrid. That's what I have been seeing. And I think the Eclipse is representative of the Hybrid as well. He did an ig live earlier sort of explaining some of the lore and the video itself, but what I got from it is that the video is focusing on Ian trying to complete this mission of trying to get the sword and it’s a task given by the Hybrid (the intergalactic DJ in the red coat) who is like a God using Ian as a vessel, and when he touches the sword he sees glimpses of Mito who weilded the sword in the past because there’s a history between Mito and the Hybrid. The blue eyes are meant to represent that Ian is being taken over by the hybrid, and the clock represents how long he has left to do his ‘missions’, and there’s 8 of them all together. He also mentioned that No blueberries is actually set in the future after this so there’s a lot of references in that, that apply to this

First there's the mind blowing pleasure of watching the drop of each new DPR mv, then there's the joy of watching you and waiting for you to reach certain bits in the video knowing it's going to blow you up!! I knew his back was coming... If the sword is referencing Excalibur of Arthurian legend, then only King Arthur can remove it and use it's magical power. So, I was wondering if the eclipse is the symbol of the hybrid, and he has to wait until he is fully formed (the moon completely covers the sun, scheduled for 3 o'clock on the watch) before he can pull it from the stone and harness its powers. I loved the concept that the music was being created on the console by both Mito and Insanity as the Hybrid, and the track, like you said, was such a clever mix of both their styles. The magic of the sword is the music and images it can power.

I think you're right on the Hybrid being the blue eyes character. And the hybrid being both essences of Mito and Insanity. Which I've thought this since he said the word Hybrid. I think the swords are kinda like Keys, and how many maybe represent how many times the Hybrid has tried to get out as well as been locked away again. A lot of what happens in Saint, happens in other MV's as well. If you listen to "Welcome To The Otherside" you hear the bird noises. I get the vibes from that with certain sounds in Saint as well. The scene at the end, I think that's IU's character from Shopper making a cameo. Like Dabins space guy in No Blueberries. Also the jungle is, I feel, part of The Otherside. Which you hear the song, WTTO, is jungle sounds and feel.

Little correction to what you said about the hybrid at 5:20: The Hybrid is its own entity and existed before Insanity. He has influence over Ian, who he turns into Insanity, and Mito. Hence, there are parts of him in the other characters, but they are not a combination that is the Hybrid. Also, we haven't seen the Hybrid yet, he said in today's live. I think you are confusing Limbo (the inbetween state between switches) with Hybrid, who lives in the void. That's what I understood.

The sword reminds me of Excalibur. The sword was stuck in a stone by the last rightful owner and then only the one who is worthy of attain power will be able to pull it out. So, and related with my previous comments, the sword might represent the responsibiliy and bearing of power, to rule over a country (in this case it is Christian's brain/mind) and therefore who is pulling out the sword? who is the rightbul bearer? we see another scene where he sticks it into the ground, so that no one else (inadequate ones) can try to take over? Is Mito the one doing it before hybrid takes over? If Mito is Green, and the sword is also Green, he could absorb that green energy and take the sword from inside the temple, only to stick it later on the ground... to avoid Hybrid or Insanity taking over?

Also the way the first minute is literally movie level epiness I've just replayed the first 40 seconds so many times lol. Sooo this is where I'm so unsure but I don't think the person we see in the beginning is the hybrid. He has talked about the hybrid almost being like an ancient curse. I think he is trying to take this sword that the hybrid has promised to give him power (which we hear from mito at the beginning) so I think it's ian that has ventured to far off in the other side who comes across this ancient tomb and thus unlocking this ancient curse when taking the sword. I am however confused why ian would have blue eyes but I dunno. Anyways so after he unlocks this curse we see all the dark must which like u said is mito trying to come out and take over. sorry for this chaotic comment in advance... I literally wrote down my own thoughts to process the MV, while listening to you talk your thoughts out, then watched the replay of his live... i love lore, but my brain hurts now lol. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire experience, but I think my favorite part is what I assume to be a battle for control/ switch, but they are using that epic soundboard(?) to battle. Like there are swords, the weather, basically infinity gauntlets to harness the power of the sword... sidenote: how did ian even get those? did the hybrid tell him where to go/ just took control to go get them? cause it seems like many attempts were made to activate that portal or door in the ground, but up until that point they had failed or been thwarted. Like those things and more could eeeasily be used as a weapon... but no... this time around they duel by music battle and I guess insanity wins or it's the hybrid influencing insanity (?) or was the soundboard just like the audible signal created by insanity/ the hybrid to announce their arrival??? iirc mito loves orchestral music, insanity is represented by bells, so is this the hybrid signature sound before the final bell at the end? idk, none of this probably makes sense lol all i just saw was changing cape colors that ended with green and glitter on the battle board but with skin that didn't seem fully dark yet like how insanity has shown up before (edit: I swear in his love that insanity has a god mode, i'm not sure at this point, but if insanity has a god mode does it happen so fast that all that's left of that switch is glitter or can it be tamed somehow and that's why the skin doesn't fully change? PLUS the fact that this is exactly 4 minutes makes me think that number is significant, like an angel number or something... i'm most likely reaching)... my brain is just throwing stuff out. Also, does that creature at the end have a strange nose or was that a beak, because i thought it was a nose but it also just looked like it opened and idk if i'm just seeing stuff or not but either way i'm excited for the next part. i love all the connections and how much this gets my brain working (even if/when i'm wrong). this entire dpr universe is incredible and this team is so unreal!

I think the swords are keys and maybe the swords were aligned in a specific pattern, like a pentagram or something like that, and the sword that was chained was the very last one. The key to open the door? And maybe The Hybrid let in Insanity when he placed the last sword? So maybe the character at the end was Insanity in "disguise"?

haven’t watched the full react neither read all the comments cause I’m at work rn, but I have to say what if instead of the hybrid this is actually Mito right after falling from heaven? The way this character is in a mix of trying to hide himself but also showing parts of his armor gives me the energy that this might actually be Mito trying to find something (the sword?). Mito was an angel and fell, this might be a period between white eye Mito and Angel Mito. Blue eyes, silver armor but hiding his body, wings and face with shadows and dirt.

I think he said on a live the hybrids eyes are blue..anyway his eyes changed in the mv after he picked the sword and was on his way out, they were black, and the outside they turned golden. Looks like there's a fight between Mitto and the hybrid, they keep switching places. At the end, for.me, that looks like Insanity on the run hiding 😂

Ele fica cada vez mais insano, a cena em que Serafim desce e Mito estende a mão para ajudá-lo... ISSO É DIVINO. ISTO É ARTE. ISSO É CINEMA. Seguindo a sequencia da mitologia dos vídeos anteriores, (sim, porque se você nao assistiu, vai ser dificil entender), sei que os sons são das criaturas que ele ouve em seus sonhos lúcidos… Mais não tenho certeza se o Mito com a grelha seja híbrido… afinal para mim é híbrido. Ele é a mistura de Mito antes de encontrar a loucura durante as transições. Eu acho que a espada é como uma chave para tirar Ian do estado híbrido… Mito impede o híbrido de orquestrar esse caos e a espada o puxa de volta para as sombras, então a insanidade aparece. Eu acho que esse novo personagem poderia ser Miss Insanity/ Miss Compreendido no final. the wolf is seen several times in this mv the part where the hilt of the sword is connected to the blade is a wolf that seems to be holding the blade of the sword with its teeth ian's grill...it's like the teeth of the sword hilt wolf The tattoo on his back that is the tattoo of this sword but the whole of sword is a wolf not just the hilt which is so smart and if we get more precise there are more things in the tattoo that I think I understood only one of them and that is the 8 phases of the moon the 8 circles between his shoulders we also have 8 swords that he thrusts into the ground when he kneels too 8 swords have formed a circle on the ground and it has 4 diameters so the circle is divided into 8 parts I assume that each sword represents one of the moon phases and as he said on his last insta live: "the hybrid is made up of the 8 phases of the moon but the 8 phases of the moon as we know it are phases of one moon;in this world the 8 phases of the moon are separate moons so we have 8 moons in the world of the otherside. the hybrid joins all of these 8 moons and it turns into an eclipse the eclipse signals the coming of insanity and also it's imposes the hybrid,now the hybrid uses ian as a puppet" So maybe ian kneels with the sword thrust into the ground for the hybrid and 8 swords (8 separate moons ) are placed together(in one circle )then the hybrid joins them all and a eclipse occurs and this is how the hybrid uses Ian

This is really long - my brain needs a vacation, lol. I'm going to stick with the theory that the Hybrid can be represented in two ways at the same time. 1. A mix of Mito and Insanity in terms of its personality being more extreme, darker, resentful. (It's not the case where it's a merging of alters. It's just its own being) 2. (in addition to being) "A being that influences others whenever we see the blue eyes" like we saw the blue eyes in the beginning scenes of Don't Go Insane because I'm sure that was Ian being influenced. (Little tidbit: In real life, alters can merge and even an alter can split into two). I believe it's Hybrid. Hybrid is influencing Ian in taking the sword. Ian thinks he's doing the right thing at the moment because he keeps saying “I’m a saint.” and then we also hear "I'm no saint" so he's wavering between these two 'states' because of the Hybrid. He’s being influenced by Hybrid because his eyes are blue. And the black smoke is Mito trying to take over since Hybrid and Mito are on opposing sides. When the golden eyes appear, that again signifies Insanity's influence Another layer of the story that shows that with the colourful energy source powers and later the golden eyes (Insanity), the black smoke (Mito) and even the blue eyes (Hybrid), this is who Ian was originally. Of course I still say that the 'blue eyes' is a corrupted influence. I know I need to watch a replay of Ian's live on the colours and try to figure it out on my own. I did see a comment on it and it's excellent but I also love seeing it play out on my own. If we go back to Miito movie part with Seraph, the storyline is biblical and if I link it to Mito as a fallen angel, then Hybrid is the serpent who tempted Ian. The sword is the apple that’s supposed to give him all knowledge or power or whatever else. The sword is in a protective glass case, meaning that no one is supposed to remove it. But then he has to drag it through the desert because even the sword's power is apparent in its weight. Also the reason why Ian is able have the power to draw energy/power from the sword is because Insanity created Ian that’s why he has that bit of power in him. However when we see the two angels in the sky - one black and one white which represents 3 things for me: 1. Black vs White - Mito vs Insanity. 2. The original colour is 'white'. When Mito had 'fallen' during Seraph, his wings turned black, so this represents like his past self and his present self. 3. Dissociative identity disorder - where due to the power/influence that Ian can't handle, Mito as an alter takes on that consequence of that power. So showing the black angel and the white angel shows dissociation within the self. So to me, the one with the black wings, even though both of his eyes are okay, is Mito, because that was Mito before his eye got damaged. So I think originally in Miito movie part 1, Ian was made to think that Mito was the enemy when it was actually a set up in a way and Insanity for his own reasons, did not want Ian to know that and set up methods to control him e.g. the pills. I also think that Insanity is the one with the colourful cloaks who and this is where I love Ian’s genius (I always love it, who doesn’t). But Insanity is ‘creating’ through music and harnessing all of his powers in that way. Ian has said that Insanity is him just more on the manic high side and Insanity just loves creating things which is a metaphor for Ian, in real life, expressing his own creativity through his music and videos and even working with other people's projects as well. Red makes me think of Insanity but also the cloak turns blue so did Hybrid take over? Oh no. But someone did explain the colours a bit so I actually see how that could possibly happen because of all the colours coming together (I know I need to read up more to figure this out and ofc watch Ian's vid on it). ********************************************************************************************************* Edit: So I'm going to add this part from one of my earlier comments - from one of the reactions you did with RJ. Well because I had already watched Saint, I made that link. "In No Blueberries that's the only time we see the Blueberry Monster. I did mention that blue could represent 'fear' in one way. So as we know the blue connects to Blueberries and the Blueberry Monster - trauma triggers/ worst nightmares. Blue also connects to the Hybrid with his blue eyes. The way Ian explains Hybrid is that I believe he's like more angry, more resentful. Hybrid doesn't have a name because that can give him more power. I don't know if there was the intention for us to connect the Blueberry Monster to Hybrid, maybe not but I'm seeing a connection between Ian facing off the monster because it's like a hybrid of its own in a way because the eyes are coloured/glowy which reminds me of Insanity and of course the eye necklace makes us think of Mito." ********************************************************************************************************* So from there I was thinking that Blueberry monster is a hybrid or is it The Hybrid (like not it's true form maybe but like the ugliness of what it represents) because what if 'No Blueberries' is set in the future because it looks very retro and then there's this astronaut which in a way represents technology advancing because irl even in the future, we can always be influenced by things from the past and still advance. ........................................... Edit: Because something just came to me. Recap - Ian takes the sword because he's influenced by the Hybrid and has blue eyes. Mito is both the voice in the beginning of the video, well it's in medias res because that's not actually the beginning (because we see that scene again). Insanity is the one in the red cloak harnessing the powers in the form of their colours. Red cloak turns blue which suggests the hybrid's influence. Ian's eyes turns golden which shows Insanity's influence. So as Ian explained Mito is the alter that fronts during his manic lows and he's aware of Insanity during his manic highs, Hybrid might not be an 'alter' like Mito but plays a role like Insanity does. Because as we're aware of Insanity, we're aware of how he dresses and acts but the one difference between Mito and Insanity + Hybrid, is that Ian's eye colours change with regards to the latter two. For Mito it's a bit different because when he fronts, Ian's eyes don't necessarily change colour but one turns white. This reminds me of alters sort of changing a certain characteristic of the host self e.g. the host might not need glasses and then a certain alter needs to wear glasses so the alter puts them on when they front. Honestly if Ian didn't use the eyeball ring and kept the white eye, I would see the white eye as Ian/Mito's eye turned inwards because Mito has to keep a watchful 'eye' within Ian's subsconscious and guard The Emerald City.

So I just watched a clip of Ian explaining the Hybrid and I believe that unlocked more information for me than what I've figured out already or even stuff that needs to shift me to the right direction. My goodness, I freaking love his brain. Also I now understand why we haven't been fully introduced to the Hybrid as yet as in we haven't see this entity. We only know of them (no gender) as something influencing Ian. I thought it was like that in Saint. But I thought that was Hybrid in Limbo but as Christian explained really it was an Ian influenced by Hybrid when he entered the void. When Ian exits the void he becomes Insanity.

Okay I’m restructuring some of my thoughts here (but still keeping the other posts up anyways). Originally I had thought that the scene with Mito in Saint was after Ian got the sword but I heard it was the flashback. And originally I thought Saint was somehow before Seraph but I don’t think so anymore. So what if, after Limbo (after Ian encountered the void), Mito used the 8 swords to lock the hybrid in. Ian thrusts the sword into the ground at a specific moon phase with the final sword during the blue eclipse. Keys = swords Doors = moon phases. And this plays out in Peanut Butter and Tears, So I Danced with Ian as Insanity (pretending to be/actually becoming him) the more he goes through the doors with their respective keys, the more it leads him back to that darkness. Another, restructuring my thoughts about this is that I mentioned about No Blueberries that "I was thinking that Blueberry monster is a hybrid or is it The Hybrid (like not it's true form maybe but like the ugliness of what it represents)" but I remember during those quick flashing scenes of Mito fighting the Blueberry monster, sometimes it looked to me like Mito's eyes turned blue (Idk if that was intentional). And the monster had the compass and the eyeball as well. So it made me think, what if this was the future that Ian feared where he'd become fully influenced by the hybrid and become unrecognizable to himself.

I posted a comment but YT didn't post it? 😢 Anitra, there is a clip from one of his lives where he explains about the color symbology. See the scene where the beam/ray comes out from his finger, it's green color. But then the black mist and the red one don't come out from it but go towards the finger (neutralizing? trying to eliminate it?) we have the green beam but then when the black mist hits it turn more reddish, but when the red beam hits the first beam turns into YELLOW! He explained that it's related to the RGB color scheme, and blue is the color that influeneces the other ones. Blue represents the transformation and hybridization into sth else. That is why you see blue eyes which indicates the change is coming. And then you see the yellow. He also started relating it with No Blueberries MV where the lyrics says Afraid of what's in your eyes, baby. Red, green or blue. He also explained about the pocket-clock imdicating future (also appears in No Blueberries, DPR Live holds one and also clocks appear around the monster) and he said that the end scene of this MV is like a confluation of universes... maybe that is why the sky has different colors etc Now we know apparently green means Mito, Red Mr.Insanity, and yellow,hybrid, blue imdicates transformation from one into sth else. We can actually go back and think about the color palette in all of his videos, thete are many scenes with thrm, also the violet. So the mix of the different basic colors represent the hybridization and combo of different personas? In terms of Additive colors, the combo of green and red become yellow. Red and blue become Magenta (dark pink/violet) and Green and Blue becomes Cyan (light blue) and the mix of all is White (the fallen angel from the Miito Movie?) While Mito is usually in black with dark wings (the mixture of all substractive colors). Will there be more personas related with the magenta and cyan? I actually do see Mr.Insanity color not being red but magenta. Are we being lied? lol but who knows. So according to what he said, i'm assuming Blueberry Monster represents that change and that is why he kept running away from him as he represents the change is coming

The goggles... they might want to hide who he actually is, as now we could tell by the color of the eyes who is who.. unless it's a new character

Maybe the architecture represents inside his brain/mind. Centuries ago God was considered as the Great Architect of the Universe, we see Medieval imagery of him with a compass designing, also in Hindiuism lord Vishvakarma is considered the God of Architecture, that created everything and hold the universe together. Gods that therrforr followed laws og geometry and harmony to create the Universe, and maybe living under thise precepts one is a way of worship too. (i could see here some relation with harmony, all parts fitting together to function and hold everything up vs the disruption of those harmony laws and appearance of chaos. Maybe trying to deek harmony and some laws between the different personas to remain harmonic, stable...). Freaky me also remembers in Matrix they call the creator of the system "The Architect" so is also shown like some godly figure. So that architecture looks like a gothic or neo-gothic cathedral. Inside the temple the green sword is kept/protected. In Matrix the programming codes for the system is of course green (the 0s and 1s). Is that Christian's brain? We also see, as you mentioned, the pulpit (again, church-themed) where he stands controlling himself? so we see the different himselves taking over to control the body and mind?

another thing that keeps running through my head is why ian doesn't have his tattoos it's like insanity at the beginning of the movie...at the beginning of the movie it's like his tattoos are kinda covered by glitter to me in saint mv his hand is covered by chrome and we see no tats on his hand...none of his tattoos are on his body at all another similar thing is where he takes off his clothes and light shines from him we also have a second of insanity in both movie and saint but in saint we see the fire the hell part in his white eyes which i say blind eyes

@@sun5821in all respect you must be new to her channel. That’s how she does things. She loves to actually react. She analyzes the song and mv and the story. Which we love about her. It gives us another theory and opinion on what could be going on in the mv. She does always give pause warnings and she does mention if that’s not for you no hard feelings for you to move on. And to not subscribe. She says this a lot in her reactions. Again no disrespect but this is how she does things. I have been watching her for so long now and I appreciate along with most of us the way she does things. A lot of reactors these days don’t take the time to actual pay attention they go through and say it was a good song or mv. But not Anitra. She actually goes through it. She’s literally one of a kind reactor. And she’s respectful. I get you don’t like pausing. And that’s fine. But she does mention quite a lot maybe not in this mv but she does mention if you don’t like pausing then she’s not the reactor for you. And she doesn’t take an offense to it.
