I’d like to offer a slight correction, I think 건설자 is instead 建設者; constructor, one who constructs and not 건설 + -자 since 건설 itself is a noun, not a verb, so if it were 'Let's Build' as you've suggested, it would instead be titled '건설하자'

As questions, in the USSR there existed a satirical magazine Крокодил Krokodil “the Crocodile” which focused on the frustrations of bureaucracy ridiculed those who over emphasised the forms of governmental goals at the expense of the substance of such goals. Does anything like that exist in the DPRK ? In the USSR, there were several literary magazines that provided escapist fiction, such as mystery stories, or romance or science fiction, rather than the very earnest and politically focused literature that was highlighted by the Soviet Union. Does anything such literary magazine exist in the DPRK that is not entirely devoted to political themes ? In the USSR there was a magazine that was largely translations of literature from outside the USSR. Does any such magazine of translated fiction exist in the DPRK ?

Thanks for the video! Do you happen to know if there are any magazines focused on the paranormal? Like astrology, folk religion, urban legends, UFOs, spirits, and other whacky things like that? There are magazines like that seemingly in every country, I wonder if the DPRK is any different in this dimension.

I think there are some hypothetical ones that exist there. From what I know some north Koreans have access to some American folk lores and other paranormal stuff through books rather than the internet. So I think they have their own opinion about other cultures outside their own. I love to believe that they don't discriminate culture but instead their politics. Politics doesn't correlate to culture in my opinion.

Happy to see you back posting educational vids Yet I need to ask you : how do you finance all your work? From the views / youtube earnings this is impossible, there is not enough reward coming in. Next thing i need to ask : all the footage you have available for yout videos, the raw material - where does it come from? Many of the snippets i see in your vids as far as i know and aware of come from the world wide network of the "DPRK friendship association", these groups were regularly provided by DPRK officials with these "advertising videos", is that where your raw material comes from? I mean, in your channel description is written that you are an independent person, not associated to any organization - but how can you have all this raw material available without having access to material straight from the DPRK officials? Dont get me wrong, i appreciate your content a lot

I do a series of jobs here in Mongolia which finances the work, and the KZbin revenue covers more than you might expect. I'm not affiliated with any organiations or associations, in some footage I've used footage collected from trips to the DPRK, but most of the footage is from DPRK websites, media outlets, and KCTV. There's a lot out there, the trick is knowing where and how to find it.

I heard theres korean language learning books made for kids in both korea's, where the goal is reunification, so the language taught to them is more similar than the one taught in the past decades. Is this a thing you know about? Would you be able to review North Korean language learning resources? I wonder if those exist, of course they would be very hard to come by outside of north korea itself...

I have an auditory processing issue so it is hard for me to follow along without captions, but I would love to listen to your videos on the go or have them on in the background while I perform daily chores and tasks. I’m curious to know if anyone else agrees or if I’m just being picky lol.

Why didn't you mention that the majority of Koreans living in Japan were originally from the southern part of the peninsula? They remain loyal to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea because the prosperous and generous government thereof helped them when the Japanese stripped them of citizenship, while the imperialist occupied southern region was racked by corruption and poverty.
