Yeah exactly! My Juggernaut video should be very useful since I'll take into consider reload speed if the weapon isn't able to one-shot the Juggernaut. And Juggernaut has the highest hp in the game, so it should be realistic!

Yeah you're right, I probably should've calculated the cycle DPS which factors in reload speed. But I'm gonna upload a video soon where I calculate how long it'll take for each weapon to kill a Juggernaut. That factors in reload speed as well as how fast the weapon can deal damage. It think it'll be a very useful video

Hey Zero! Yeah exactly, my data was accurate for weapons like EMs that one-shot everything. But my data wasn't realistic for weapons like javelins that need several mags to kill most things

@@phantombuilder1590 That's nice. But that'll change once you start facing maxed high hp mechs like Aegis, Orion, Stalker, Guardian and Tengu. You won't be one-shotting them, even with the bad damage

As most of the comments suggest - add reload time! Also addition of pilots and implants matter, as there are (or are missing) some specific implants not available for other weapons that could influence the final outcome - like mortars not having the reload implant. Did you overwrite the Scape's database file with your spreadsheet?

Yup, I'll add reload speed next time. Adding pilots and implants makes it confusing since which implants do I use for my data? A max legendary damage implant? Not everyone has that implant. I feel like that makes everything complicated, so I let the viewer calculate that on their own if they want. Just multiply all my data by 2 if it's a maxed legendary pilot with a maxed legendary damage implant. And yeah I mistakenly overwrited Scape's database. You know how to fix that lol?

Great video once again! Maybe you could factor in how long it takes to reload for each weapon. That has a big impact in battle. But if you’re already testing everything on a jugg then maybe there’s no need. The time it takes to bring him down might be a better indicator.

Yeah exactly, it's important to factor in bkth burst DPS (which I calculated in this video) and cycle DPS (which factors in reload speed into your data. I think calculating how long each weapon will take to kill Juggernaut will be a super useful video since it factors in both of them. If the weapon one-shots the Juggernaut, it doesn't factor in reload speed. But if the weapon doesn't, like most weapons do, it will factor in reload speed

Really appreciating yours in-depth videos but don't you think the formula for finding true average dps is Damage ÷ (unload time + reload time)? Cause just Damage ÷ Unload Time will be Burst dps 😅

Yeah, I realized that I messed up after I was finished with my video😂. Yes, burst DPS is useful since it shows you which weapons deal the most amount of damage the quickest. But some weapons like the rocket mortars have incredibly long reload speeds that were never factored in. I'm uploading a video where I calculate how long it'll take for each weapon to kill a Juggernaut. This video will be super useful since it factors in both burst and cycle DPS. If the weapon doesn't one-shot the Juggernaut, reload speed gets factored in

Nice, I think Em12 might be useful only on maxed orion once everything you have is maxed. But it'll do awesome with a 24en panther or even paragon.

Nice Taqiy! If I were you, I'd use those acoins instead to max out your Panther instead. A maxed Panther even with a weak weapon will always be stronger than a non-maxed Panther with a strong weapon. It takes around 13k a-coins to get the second copy of the EM 12. If you use those a-coins on Panther, you'll be around half way to getting your Panther maxed!

Hey Casper! No, I don't recommend you to invest in any of the carbine weapons. Although they have a pretty decent DPS on enemies that are standing still, their DPS is horrible if the enemy is moving, especially if you're far away from them. This is because the accuracy is horrible. So I'd recommend investing in the arc torrent 12 if you can get it, or the arc torrent 10 if you can't. The graviton beam 12 is also pretty strong if you can get it. These are all really strong weapons on Surge!

You know something is wrong when a sniper weapon has more dps than continous/sustained fire weapons. EM rifles shouldnt do double damage, and should have 8 seconds reload time in my opinion. And disc launcher should deal a bit less damage. And although it doesnt affect dps, the disc radius implants should be nerfed. They increase your average dps in matches because you literally cant miss.

Yeah, I think the most broken part about the EM rifle is the autoaim. The railgun and the longarms also deal a ton of damage, but the shots are very difficult to hit. But the EM rifles are extremely easy to hit. Even my 6 year old cousin can easily kill people with them. This combined with their crazy fast reload speed, their high double damage chance, and high damage per shot makes them completely broken

Watching it late (especially if you're mega late like myself) is helpful but won't be 100% accurate as it doesn't take into account new weapons that have been released since the release of the video and some of the weapons get their stats needed from time to time. This is no fault of the video creator, just something to remember and take into account when setting up your hanger now in this day of age
