@@krounixz I disagree with the Eula and Baal thing. Eula does perfectly well with just Fischl and a cryo battery. Yes Raiden is Eula's best partner, but it's less of a big deal than the others you compared. And it isn't vice-versa either because Raiden is already an amazing support for all those energy hungry characters which almost are all good, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Sucrose, Beidou, all already heavily appreciate Raiden.

As a Xiao user, I was always aware of his weakness and people considering to pull for him need to be aware of this too. Consider this is a fair warning. (btw liking and having fun with a character is subjective so I won't go on to this topic) As people may have started to notice, he only has a signature weapon and no dedicated artifact set & support. Some teams work for him but their buffs only last half of Xiao's burst uptime at most. To sum it up, he is situational. - Damage falls off at single target scenarios - Struggles to damage all mobs that get staggered in all directions so a crowd controller is recommended - Needs battery, healing & shielding (some dps can let go of 1) - He is expensive for whales too, either go C0, C1, or go C6 to make your cons whaling justified. - Reliant on Zhongli. Yes you can play him without Zhongli, but less comfortable to play because he is the definition of... - a glass canon (he doesn't gain interruption resistance from activating burst) Before anyone in the comments goes to "whats important is you pull for characters you love" or something, I'll just say that those who are dead set on getting him will wish for him nonetheless. This is for those who are still unsure. This game may be casual but resource management especially primogems is a good skill to have.

That may be far in the future. If leaks are right, the stars of the succeeding patches would be Shenhe, then Yae, then Ayato. Beyond that would most likely be the Dendro arc. Most likely, new toys, if there would be, would center those. So it'll be cryo centric, electro centric, hydro centric and a flood of dendro related things when dendro start rolling.

I don't even think mihoyo cares. They care only profit so they made this specific buff for other characters to boost there sale. Well xiao has a very good sale considering his banner was for only 2weeks. May be in third rerun mihoyo might change plans but next patch I don't see any buffs to him which is really sad. Also I dont know why should we wait for another anemo dps. Albedo's sword can be used on him only. There is c6 kazuha who could use anemo dps set. A character will not get his set because there is no other characters like his kit is a stupid idea. But then again we it depends on mihoyo so yeah my arguments are meaningless until they want it we will not get it.

The only thing where xiao is in a disadvantage its the artifact set. The 3 of them are buffed by zhongli, the 3 of them are using 4 star weapons (and actually that weapon of xiao its the better f2p option)... and floor 12 of the abyss doesnt have geo buff, thats on floor 11

pretty much if you have high con noelle itto will only be a marginal upgrade in certain situations. noelle performed very similarly to itto in the abyss and even the triple magu kenki run where there was the biggest difference he said he could have done better. but the thing is yun jin the normal attack buffer isnt even out yet. so surly things may get even better for noelle

@@rjacks3284 I don’t know if it was mentioned in the video, but Itto on Floor 12 against the Genki’s had abyss buff of 30% Charge attack damage, while Noelle didn’t have a buff for her auto attacks. Without, the time difference would have been a lot closer, so Noelle really doesn’t fall behind Itto much at all.

The fact that Noelle can keep up so well with 5* is amazing. Like you said she was for a 4* always sleeper OP and the right artifacts, weapons and support dug up her true potential. This can very well also happen to Xiao and I hope this happens with 2.4 during his rerun. In the last month I got multiple upgrades on Noelle. C6, Husk of Opulent Dreams, Gorou C6 and R5 Redhorn Stonethresher. I used to do 12 - 18k damage. Now Noelle does 3X to 5X more damage no cap. This is the single biggest boost in terms of power I have seen on my account only 2nd behind my Raiden Shogun.

I've said before but I think Noelle is the best choice Mihoyo could have picked to be the first non standard 4 start you get. She's completely self sustaining with shielding, healing, and damage so you don't need to use resources on supports. Not only that, but she's your first into to non atk scaling characters and is also still relatively competitive end game as a dps. She's just a little selfish and not too powerful till C6.

Noelle is a character that is meant to be invested from day 1 and build alongside your account. It takes time but getting her C6 is the easiest out of all 4 stars and most who are longer in the game probably even have her C6 already. She is the best all-rounder in the game. So I see why Mihoyo designed her in a way that her full damage potential comes only later into fruition when you have raised your account properly. But for everybody who sticks with her the reward is huge. Achieving 5 Star levels of DPS of nothing short but amazing.

@@zeromailss Before I got her C6 her damage was around 10k - 16k. That is usuable. And that was my power for most of the game. I used a Ningguang with favonius codex to power her. It is not enough to 9* Abyss 12 but it is quite good. Sadly the favonius Claymore is pretty bad on her even though it looks really good. The Whiteblind or Serpent Spine are much better. Now she does 3 to 4 times more damage with C6, Husk of Oppulent dreams and the Redhorn Stonethresher + Gorou and can easily 36* abyss

The fact that Xiao, a character that is a 5 star limited who sacrifices hp, is extreamly selfish, and has a complicated max potential combo, all traded off to do great aoe damage, and then you look at a 4 star which you probably own at C17 at this point, who can heal and shield, can swap through teammates with no downside, and is braindead easy to play, and has a lower energy cost, and does comparable or arguably better damage then Xiao? Mihoyo please give Xiao some actual artifacts and signature support, I don't want to see my boy fall off this hard again.

Little tip for Itto's main: Switch to him to throw cow first, when the cow gets hit by enemies, he'll gain 1 stack, when the cow flees, he gain 1 more stack, he can gain stack off field.

Xiao problems aren't only artifacts sets and supports. His problem are that: -he loses hp for no reason, -he flinches/pushes away enemies too far when he plunges, -if the enemy can move around or dash (like the wolves) xiao loses too much time chasing them down, -he can't gain energy from his E during his Q (hence he requires a battery unless you have a high ER and can't use them mid Q to reposition), -his c1 only works at the beginning of a fight (it doesn't even charge back after his Q duration) -he doesn't snapshot the buffs for his Q (so if they end mid Q, he loses all buffs) With all these reruns its getting more and more likely to have your main dps as C1, if we count for longevity, Xiao doesn't have that either (his other Cons are absurdly bad and C6 is literally useless against bosses or single target's, that and the E spam auto-aim is awful)

100% on point but it's sad to think that they won't change his kit. The only hopium for xiao mains was to get a busted support preferably a anemo catalyst (sucrose don't boost xiao's performance only for energy funneling and TTDS) and insanely good tailor made artifact set for him, and anemo resistance shred on anemo resonance.

Geo Resonance does so much for Geo's damage that C6 Noelle is outperforming Xiao. And still they buffed Geo with Husk, Gorou, and Redhorn. Xiao needs a 4 piece he can actually take full advantage of and if he can get a Ameno version of Bennet or Gorou, all the better.

geo needed a buf just like xiao does before 2.3. there were no suitable supports for a geo dps before. gorou is the right character at the right time. geo is fixed. now we need to fix electro and anemo. don't you hate when your element's sets are meant to buff other elements that are already stacked in the first place? viridiscent should anemo shred too, and petra should buf geo damage. it's so stupid that they don't... honestly viridiscent is actually too powerful for other elements right now, it should shred cryo pyro electro and hydro by 20% and anemo by 40%. that would be balanced. like the elements that already have multiplicative reactions needed even more of a boost.

Geo needs these buffs due to no reverse vape and melt. Xiao's new artifact set is honestly crap since its about a 6% dps boost in a full team. But it can allow you to use an ER sands and remove your anemo battery for albedo and get geo resonance on xiao. The res shred is useless but atleast the dmg buff helps him(though to the point of diminishing returns from his burst)

@@badera3083 the issue is not the AOE but new enemies that don't favor Xiao's playstyle and his supports' buff ends before his burst duration, resulting to a dps loss. New characters get Resistance to Interruption so you can face tank enemies and not get staggered. Having Zhongli is not an option for Xiao but a NECESSITY.

I mean C6 Noelle was already cracked(as a Noelle main I can tell you Mihoyo absolutely intended for her to be a DPS) but 2.2-2.3 really just made her an insane DPS. Her healing is garbage, unless you have zhongli she will just die if no shield, if you have Zhongli you don't need a shielder simply because there's an abyss buff which gives 30% hp when you burst, but also corrosion only goes down to 15% hp, as long as your zhongli shield doesn't break, it's fucking easy, and zhongli shield never breaks.

Cuz of how xiao loses a percentage of his current health, and how he isn't immune to knock back in the air, he can get interrupted. especially with the new mobs that can deal damage through shields (like corrosion), it becomes more important to invest in healers and a strong shielder as well.

As a Xiao main it pains me to see him underperform this much. To this day he still has no good F2P weapon and let’s be real blackcliff is not good. It requires killing thing before you can even get it to start working unlike others where you just have to go run up and hit something which basically means it sucks against single targets and takes a bit to ramp up in mob scenarios. Compared to 4pc husk, 2pc vv 2pc glad is utter dog water. 54% def and 24% geo damage is huge compared to just 15% anemo and 18% attack. No good supports that truly benefit him like Itto and noelle have in Gorou and lastly his plunge having that massive knockback. I’ve always hated this about Xiao’s plunge attack because it can make or break how well he performs. When the enemies are just two big oafs like ruin guards and the triple maguu’s that don’t get pushed around Xiao feels so damn good but when it’s enemies like those dogs or geovishaps that get pushed with every plunge it’s incredibly annoying because you have to chase after them every time and try to get them to regroup losing you so much dps. People already shit on Xiao now so this just added fuel to the fire. Gonna be real fun.

My Ganyu with Diona-Bennett-Xiangling on F12 Abyss could do 50k+120k bloom damage every CA when melt. I don't think replacing Diona with Shenhe would be better, because she'll be interrupted while aiming her CA Shenhe only works on Freeze or mono Cryo comp, or maybe Physical comp with Raiden Eula Diona Shenhe. Feel dissapointed with Shenhe kit until now. I hope they will fix her skill before release Shenhe is not neccessary. An anemo buffer like "Anemo Gorou" is more important than Shenhe.....

Shenhe is unnecessary weight tbh. If you want a cryo support, Diona or Rosaria seem more valuable than extra damage which neither Ganyu, Eula or Ayaka need unless Mihoyo makes a new cryo dps that is super underwhleming to sell Shenhe. Last year I didn't want to play genshin because I thought there was no tank in the game and then a friend told me about Noelle and that she was actually a free character, and that's how I decided to start playing genshin impact. My favorite class in any game is always paladin/crusader or similar, my favorite element is earth by far, and my favorite weapons are shields of course, along with axes and secondly swords, so I fell in love with Noelle since the very beginning and she helped me to clear all the content in the game and I still use her to clear abyss every time.

@@Shadow-187 yunjin will buff normal attack every character but not charge attack. the only character that heavily relying on normal attack is yoimiya (childe could too, but he's more like enabler instead of damage dealer), another less relying on normal attack characters are dps fischl and razor too. yunjin will provide shield too. i at first thought she will be itto pair but considering how itto relying on charge attack (as he also get additional more dmg on charge attack) including ningguang or yanfei also relying on charge attack, yunjin might not best for them. so, for early impression, yunjin will be yoimiya pair. yunjin basically can replace zhongli as shielder too so yoimiya won't be knocked back during her normal attack cycle and her shield isn't time based but hp based and how many time it get hit (uptime 100%), she can work as mono pyro or pyro-geo with albedo. her constellation also buff normal attack speed, considering yoimiya attack speed is really really fast, so with yunjin, machingun yoimiya is doable without losing damage capability (by using c2 jean or broken pines). yunjin is kinda the answer for people who wanted attack speed artifact set. i can already imagine people will make machine gun yoimiya meme team comps with broken pines, c2 jean and yunjin in future lmao

Wow, it's almost like weapons (f2p and p2w) that suit your kit, a tailor-made artifact set, an advanced technique for your weapon type, and supports that are made for your element can actually make you stronger and faster! Who knew, right? Sigh. As an Itto main and a Xiao main, I'm both proud and heartbroken for my boys. Lantern Rite and his rerun would've been the perfect time to give Xiao some needed buffs (an artifact set, more weapon variety, an anemo/plunge buff support) that we've been clamoring for months now, but they wasted the moment and unless they release a new plunge or anemo DPS who knows if they ever will. It's sad to think that Xiao's build options have been basically the same since *Staff of Homa*. But salt aside, I'm happy about Itto's results and that he's so good for us non-whale people too.

And that concludes my decision. I already have hutao, diluc, ayaka, childe as dps' but no 2nd sucrose or 2nd diona for my 2nd team in abyss. I liked xiao's gameplay from last event trial but as a mobile player he's super hard to control i managed to jump in wrong directions a lot or his bad camera angles and not being able to see anything down below and enemies getting pushed away at the same time. It was kinda irritating but i was still gonna go for him but now my main priority is zhongli cause i need supports more than dps'. Thanks for the video and clearing up my decision

Xiao has many drawbacks like high poised plunging attacks, his energy problem, and his plunging attacks are paused a bit. Itto in the other hand, is monstrously strong, no comment. Noelle is rather strong due to her nigh-unique ability, like Diluc's fire blade, but when the max potential reached, she's just a bit stronger other 4 stars dpses

Imo, she is in C tier if she is c0, as her heal is only 50% and you need her to be on-field, in c1 she might go to B? Because this improves her healing ability but again, she needs her burst to utilise it. And in C6 i can say she's in A or nearly S as she changes from a support to a dps where you let her on field most of the time. Before c6 i didn't use her but now she's c6, she is my all time character dy XD

@@cookietpod I've been using her since I got her on the beginner banner. Her shield and normal attacks were invaluable in the early game as I unga bunga'd through enemies Dark Souls style. My Noelle is now C6 triple crowned. She's been with me my entire journey in Tevat. But I do think people underestimate her strengths and are quick to dismiss her. Now that everyone can see what Itto can do I hope more people look into Noelle because I do think she's very strong. Even in the video he said that she's always been this strong since day one kinda showing that even whales were sleeping on her.

@@AzureAetherXx yep late game players forget that survivability was an actual asset early on. noelle is the main reason my 2nd account that has no investment (uses a bunch of random 3 star artifacts, doesn't do dailies and barely ever gets any primos, and that i never use the resin on that account and don't farm for anything) could get 3 stars in the 9th floor of the current abyss. on AR34. that's before artifact domains start dropping 4 star pieces, lol! but thanks to her performance (she's using an unrefined favonius btw), i already have some nice 5 star artifacts that i get from the abyss. i didn't want to use her in the second account since i already main her, but it's so hard NOT to when she's so damn good early on.

A character supposed to be OP character like during beta test, and the "Xiao saler" keep say "save for Xiao, skip other" end up outclassed by Ganyu and Hu Tao. His signature weapon is now Hu Tao polearm, he doesn't have signature artifact, keep suffering from losing his HP, if you don't have Zhongli Xiao easily knocked, and soon... Previously F2P Xiao main here, like in this video i use blackcliff polearm and just using Diona shield (most reliable after Zhongli) try anything i can in mobile version, still, my Hu Tao comp and Raiden Shogun comp finishing everything faster than my Xiao.

Plus pyro resonance is not equals to geo resonance. Itto have geo resonance plus Childe talent. Itto can gain energy while in Q and doesn't lose hp while Xiao can't generate energy and loses hp.

Ganyu and hutao face the same problem of being old and powercrept now. They are good units for ftp tho don't get me wrong it's just new charecters at whale level are far better . Ayaka is just slightly behind him in terms of dot. But I'm sure if shenhe is good then ayaka will be tied or even better than him since they aren't too fart apart right now. Either way tho u should just pull who u like. Unless u plan to c6r5 then I guess the info helps

You've earned a sub from me. I've watched a few of your videos and that wasn't until i got back into genshin impact because of itto. To give you an idea, I started DAY 1 and got to around AR 40 grinding it for a few months then dropped it afterwards. Maybe coming back every few months or so to play for a few hours then dropping it again. Ever since I was lucky enough to get Itto (And Gorou, I love that cute doggo boy!), I've been grinding my ass off. Getting to AR 45, using mostly all my resin to get itto to 80, his weapon to 70, and some somewhat-ok artifacts. He's not hitting nearly as hard as yours. But MAN he's hitting harder than my Diluc and razor, both of which I got to 80 and their weapons to 80 (wolfgravestone) back when I started. Watching your videos, guides, and all have been a real pushing factor in me playing and you don't seem nearly as "High octane" as tectone. You definitely seem more relaxed and less memey, to which I love. So, I'd say keep up the great videos man! You're doing great! I'd love to see a c6 showdown between. Itto vs Hu Tao vs Xiao or Itto vs Eula vs Hu tao or even Itto vs Eula vs Xiao.
