@@kingdoom5022 at least its good that she is an archon so after a year of dominating she will get hard countered just like venti and now slowly zhongli. Raiden isnt as easy to counter as zhongli or venti though. Her c2 just seems like mihoyo's worst mistake at this point. At least units like ganyu or ayaka who are unbalanced only do one thing. Problem is that she doesnt even need reactions or good timing. Just spam all ult buffs and she does the best dps. Rotations for energy recharge arent even needed because she recharges everyone's ults by dealing dmg. Kazuha and raiden seem like the hardest ones to not make worth using.

Now it seems like Mihoyo doesn't give a fuck if a character is broken as long as it's selling well. So they put out a perfect artifact set along with a dedicated weapon as well as support for them. I wish Xiao had gotten that same treatment. I hope he does in the future. However, I think xiao is one of those characters that's gonna sell just fine despite his flaws. Because of his character. And how unique and fun his playstyle is. Look at me I've got no Zhongli or Kazuha but i kept pulling for xiao and finally got him yesterday. And I'm gonna triple crown his ass.🤣👍

You use Eula's kit to her intended use and potential (stacking and backloading damage, if the enemies have a slow windup animation where they get up, it is SUPPOSED to favor Eula, and you can't discount that just so other characters can compete. Even if you started the timer during the invul phase of the primo vishap, it would just add 7+ seconds to everyone, eula will still nuke it the moment its resistance are down, so imo your metric is fine, eulas kit is just amazing at abusing some bosses. Shes weaker against multi phase bosses, but Raiden covers that perfectly in combination with Eula.

It's not fine lol, attacking random enemies then teleporting to the boss to blow them up is not how things work in real gameplay situations like Abyss. Obviously Eula still wins, but she doesn't have 0.04s times, that's just ridiculous. Building the stacks on her Burst is part of the Burst, that's why fighting the same enemies with Eula can have totally different results because they dash and you miss stacks or you don't crit, etc. This is the same as the Noelle showcase when he was timing the shield blowup to DRAMATICALLY decrease Noelle's clear times. That's not DPS, because in normal scenarios you can't time the shield blow up

Eula’s damage is so frontloaded it *feels* unfair, but when you think about it it’s really reasonable. Eula can build stacks during invulnerable phases. It’s part of her kit and anyone with a eula can do it. It’d be more unfair to nerf Eula and not use her how intended just for a more “fair” time. Great work as always!!

@@jb2k043 Her signature weapon sobp doesnt give crit as a substat or passive while xiaos and ittos do, hence the “low” crit damage (even tho that ratio is decent from just artifacts) but her talent multipliers make up for it cuz they are just ridiculous. at level 12 her burst base damage is 850% and every stack from her burst(which she gets from hitting NA’s and her skill) she gets +175% on every stack. she can get 30 stacks max and is basically only with c6 r5 sobp (it gives attack speed in the passive) so then her burst comes out to 6100% which is just an ungodly amount

Out of these, only xiao and itto don’t use reactions. Eula, Raiden and other dps like Ayaka, Ganyu, Hu Tao all benefits greatly from reaction. Raiden uses overload-vaporized reaction to great effect, and Eula uses superconduct.

It doesn't quite add up to me that Eula is included to this showdown where her playstyle is very devoid to how Xiao and Itto uses their burst. I know they are all DPS' but this showcase is just sideways for that factor. And yes, despite Eula having no benefits from major reaction, but she does have superconduct available to her, which synergizes with her playstyle; she already have a factor that makes her more powerful than both Xiao and Itto, in which they have no match with.

Jean and Kazuha can trigger huge overload damage with Raiden electro infusion and their Pyro swirl. Of course most of her damage is not based on reactions, but I'd argue she can still gain much benefits out of it, unlike Itto and Xiao who both literally gain nothing from their reactions.

Just the fact that Eula is the only one here that actually can utilize Raiden due to her shorter burst window and insanely good synergy with literally EVERYTHING that Raiden has in her kit says a lot already. You can't be powercrept if your the best partner for an archon (which only gets better with constellations) not even talking about DPS which is pretty obvious, just team building, Eula is the only one who does not need someone dedicated. She doesn't need a specific electro to apply superconduct, she doesn't need a specific battery, unlike Hu Tao who needs Xingqiu without a replacement or Itto who needs Gorou which no other geo can replace. She's also the most team flexible character as you don't need to worry about her as much to make her good (compared to Ayaka who only excels in freeze teams) I've seen people run Eula in a melt national variation even and dominate speedrun rankings. It's just insane Edit: Also to point out some of the parts in the video which were unfair to Eula. First the builds, Eula had the worst crit ratio out of all three of them and this is a big issue because out of them 3, she scales the most with better artifacts. The gap would be wider in every category if the artifacts were better. In Overworld where Eula won every single fight, his Eula never used food (see the bathysmal vishap fight. If the other 2 didnt use food, they might not have been able to beat both enemies in 9 seconds and once one of them jumps away, speedrunning is pointless. this is the reason why shintenzu intentionally used food on Xiao which IWTL followed suit with Itto) Moreover, in the geovishap fight, if IWTL removed Zhongli's shield, Eula would still one shot it. This is an issue to the other two who can't shred resistance by themselves and would have lead to longer clear times for both of them (add to the fact that always putting zhongli shield negates the advantage of Eula's burst having super armor-- then again doesn't matter because of the timing methodology) In the abyss, the run by Mr. 89 for 2.3 rotation was a great speedrun and showed unparalleled synergy between the Eula+Ei in continuous runs where having dual hypercarry is the way to go (it's the only real dual hypercarry comp right now that's not for showcase and actually comfy to use regardless of constellations) Both Itto and Xiao are not made to be in a dual carry team with issues like long burst duration and low downtime. Specifically C6 Itto which has almost no downtime, with caveat that both his C2 and Gorou requires more geo in the team. Continuing in the 2.4 abyss run, it was obvious that the entire top half was unfair to Eula with everyone having massive physical resistance. Literally every chamber. Itto faced the same issue in the second chamber with primo geovishap, but being disadvantaged in one chamber is not the same as on all chambers (and the abyss blessing compensated heavily on damage) The last thing is that IWTL showed a "Cryo Eula" run for the final comparison which is fine but if he did a Eula focused team ( like instead of Sara+Kazuha, he put Bennett+Rosaria or even remove Raiden core for another Eula-centric team) then IWTL could have shown the capabilities of Eula even without Raiden instead of using an obvious meme team that is only viable with a C6 Shenhe.

Aside from what you mentioned, I also think his burst is really bad. Look at itto, it's literally the same concept but just so much better. Both deals aoe damage but Itto does it faster, hence he deals way more damage overall, his ult also doesn't have a negative effect such as life consuming like Xiao's and the energy restrictions while in burst mode. What xiao needs is a rework on his ult. Make plunging and jumping faster, increase it's damage at least a little, remove the debuffs of the ult. Also make a better weapon for that boi Xiao cus goddamn that pjs' effect is garbage. It's like his signature weapon but only aesthetically.

So my thoughts on this that I didn't fully explain in the video. Eula has this back loaded damage advantage where she can use the bosses invulnerability against them. It's why she's not in my DPS showdowns regularly because there's always a creative way to blow things up with her. The fairest alternative, after thinking about it more, is IMO to start timing when the boss's health bar appear. This lowers the percentage difference in time but it keeps the difference in time roughly the same to make it Look more competitive. There's just no getting around Eula's kit working the way it does against these specific mobs. Anyway, I'm open to feedback! Fastest way to clear abyss with Xiao : doing it with Raiden. And still there are some people who think he should not have a dedicated set/weapon or a support. I can understand your reasoning behind most of the methodologies other than the last portion of the video. I was also one of the people who agreed/voted that raiden can be used in eula team. But my expectation was having her as just a battery and have all the other support supporting eula (because she is the carry). I think it will be much better if the supports brought into the teams are not sara and kazuha (bc they support raiden more than they do eula/xiao), and instead someone like zhongli and c6 rosaria which leans more towards supporting eula for example. It’s more acceptable imo. Other than that, I’m perfectly fine:) once again thank you soo much!

i have a mostly mono geo team with: Itto, Gorou, Zhongli and Bennet. Idrc about Spyrall Abyss. But man its so hard to deal with shields if Itto's Ult is not charged and being F2P its really hard to funnel energy to itto because zhongli isnt a great battery and gorou isnt enough.

Yep, physical might not be the best answer for all situation, but it IS always an answer for every situation. Superconduct + Eula's hold E shreds 65% physical resistance already, which is more than enough for most cases. The only thing that's immune to physical damage is a random debuff on weekly bounty. That basically never affects your regular daily gameplay.

@@VG_Yugi Very true, you need to constantly rotate back to itto after using an elemental skill to funnel all the particles possible to itto. His C2 makes it hella easier and makes his energy demands go away on their own but it's just not possible for a F2P player. My solution the problem was getting the free Yun Jin from the lantern rite event and replacing Zhongli with her. Itto is a tank himself with around 2500 Def so he doesn't really need shields. He makes his own Crystallise shields which are more than enough with the amount of def he has. So yea f2p struggles I guess.

Zhongli can also generate particles off field with pillar, I honestly recommend putting him back in your party unless you need it for melt ganyu in abyss or something. Yun Jun is an overall worse character, especially since her burst doesn’t work on ittos charged attacks

I was fine with Xiao being a support since your content usually focuses on speedrunning perspectives. I think the issue with defining a support vs DPS in this situation is that Raiden is both in a Eula team. To support the team, Raiden has to take up field time dealing DPS. So having Xiao as a support is probably a little different than having him as a DPS, even though I think it was fine to do so.

Ofc Xingqiu is very important for characters like hu tao because of vaporize, but he doesnt deal nearly as much as hu tao, he just enabels her, meanwhile raiden and eula complement each other in such a way that both deal huge damage, so they are both a dps in that sense. Honestly its just hard to compare Eula's best comp to others, not because i think her being in a comp with raiden is unfair, but because raiden is just so busted.

@@DRealLove I think the best part of Shenhe is that her C6 turns C6 Ayaka into a monster with her C6 heavy hits, so she literally has no downtime at all. for 2.3 abyss Shenhe Ayaka combo cleared the whole first half of floor 12 in 26 seconds, that's the fastest clearing time I found, for 2.4, the fastest Shenhe Ayaka run is 53 seconds, I think that's the fastest run I've seen so far, I've seen melt Ganyu and Raiden teams clearing in a bit over 60 seconds

I dunno about Xiao as a VV support unit. At that point, you might as well use anemo traveler as the constellation reduces the enemy resistances even further. Knowing it's a main dps showdown, using Xiao as a support is kinda cheating imo as the optimal way to use Eula is indeed with Xiao but the optimal way for Xiao is with Bennett and that's it. Outside of that, a very well informative video!

I think Eula building stacks is fair cuz you still lose that time when doing abyss. Her being able to use that dead time is the same as support precasting buff to avoid losing time. No one just wait for the boss to be vulnerable to do anything stop coping

@@Rawzix gorou only buffs itto, he has no damage output. Raiden supports, debuffs enemies, and does a shit ton of damage as well. Not only that but gorou is a 4 star, and raiden is a 5 star, so it's a lot more realistic to have an itto and a gorou in the same team, than both an Eula and a raiden.

Well it's already in the game. Eulas best team is with xinyan - Bennett and Raiden C4 xinyan gives 15% physical damage + and 15% physical resistance shred, she can also use r5 gravestone for 80% attack buff to eula. Which allows eula to hit 3m open world and 7+ in abyss. Which is also why they capped the damage to 9.9

This is why I think ER is entirely underrated in the community. While CR/CD is the golden standard of stat rolls, and most people go for the "minimum requirement" of ER, if at all (I've seen plenty of sub 110% ER Xiao builds), people don't realize that under continuous content where you can't 1 cycle and done, ER becomes an overall DPS gain simply because majority of characters are heavily burst dependent. Anecdotally, I've never not had Xiao burst on CD in Abyss and I've never had to stall to catch particles to do so, and I still manage 80/180 CR/CD (with team buffs) while having 140-180 ER. My artifacts aren't even optimally rolled for him, under IWTL metrics, probably around 60-70% damage potential.

That would be unfair for a dps that relies on reaction since non reaction dps usually have higher scaling but a reaction reliant dps have higher dmg ceiling.So its better to test them with their best teamcomp

IMO your eula measurement methodology isn't fair. I mean her ult build up time should be also included, mby it's just me, but it feels cheasy when you use the time which no other dps can use to their benefits like for stacking eula's burst. For every other dps it is like a dead time with no dps, and you start timing later on, for eula is just a prep time XD BTW: I LOOOOOVE your videos so much !! Keep it up mate, I have been waiting for this video for so long. Also My itto is c3 tho, but on his next rerun I will be getting his C6
