Considering all of these are movie cards that should've been released around Bonds Beyond Time, the fact they buffed a card is somewhat more impactful as a rogue strategy since you can just blow out most Decks if you go first. 2nd however, it's 50 50 your opponent would even allow it to happen since monster negation doesn't stop this.

They already can set up a turn 2 board wipe. Magician's Rod searches either Dark Burning Magic or Magician Navigation on summon, and if you have the other ready to go, BOOM! Your opponent just plain loses when this is done properly.

Also Dark Burning Attack is not searchable via Dark Magic Inheritance for the same reason Eye of Timaeus isn't searchable. @@AlynRapi Yeah, you just need Navigation but typically, you're only getting 1 Rod search and you can either search Illusion Magic to get the DM in your hand, search for Navigation to start the summoning, or Dark Burning Attack to nuke the field. And if you have DMG in your hand, you can't get her out. This is why I really with AIM had her original name be DMG: so Burning Magic would work with her (and she could solve both the issues of bricking with her in your hand and having a DM in your hand for Navigation).

Plus he's the M.F.ing Pharaoh so he can topdeck whatever he needs, and him pulling out his top servant in his original form was just badass. On top of which, the Clear Kuriboh that Yugi used to stop the 1000 burn damage from Crimson Nova Trinity had a GY effect: when an opponent's monster attacked him directly, Yugi got to draw a card, then if a monster, not only was that monster Special Summoned, but the attacking monster is also forced to battle it.

They also should make a monster with an effect that searches DM spells or traps upon summon and allows you to banish it during either players turn to summon DM from hand, deck or grave. There should also be a dark spellcaster that allows you to discard it and add 1 "Dark Magic" card from your deck to your hand, making Dark Magic Veil searchable.

Dark Magician Girl gains ATK equal to how many Dark Magicians are in the GY. So technically you can have 3 DMGs on the field with 600 extra ATK (2 DMs in GY), making the total ATK gain increase by 1800 ATK. *still doesn't change the fact that Dark Magician gets big af*

Having Dark Magician Girl on the field may not necessarily be a bad thing. It gains 300 attack for every DM in the GY and Twin Burst doesn't say original attack, meaning that those attack boosts also stack. Furthermore, DM the Dragon Knight and Magician of Chaos both count as DM in the GY, so they boost it as well. As for playing DMG in the first place, all you need to do is run a Magician Girl engine (basically 1 or 2 Chocolate and a mix of Berry and Lemon) to get her out easier.

@@Colbrax That's really good but instead of tributing the fusion, you should Link summon with him and then resummon from the graveyard and go into your Norito play (use Dark Magic Veil to make 2 AIM's on your field more common). By Link summoning, you can play the deck the way you've always played it but not be held back by the extra monster zone and using the powerful link monsters that make other decks meta.

I'm always on the hunt for finding new DM support, but we haven't seem to find anything really that good to splash into the deck. I don't think either of the rituals or the new Mana is good enough to be put in the deck. I really wish there was some sort of quick-play spell card that says "special summon 1 Dark Magician from your hand or graveyard" so that it's searchable by Magician's Rod and can be used immediately like the Cyber Dragon spell card.

That way they can't use their double effects for having multiple spells in graveyard and it stops their continuous spell that sets them from the graveyard (and their Kagari). Also, depending on the situation, if you don't have Eternal Soul, it's better to go into Amulet Dragon because if your fusion gets destroyed, you have a back up plan to summon a spellcaster from the graveyard.

@@OilFreeFeathers doesn't matter if alternative gets the vanilla monster is 4800 or 48000, the fact still remains smart ass, is that too much shit has to happen in order to get the thing there, and it doesn't even count as red eyes in the field or grave like blue eyes alternative does. So I'll say it again. Red Eyes Alternative Dragon does not count as support.

Although, I'm still holding out hope that we'll get 2 cards for Blue-Eyes namely an Ultimate Fusion spell that makes summoning ultimate dragon easier and something like a Pot with Eyes of Blue to return 3 Blue-Eyes monsters/Eyes of Blue cards to the deck to draw 2 cards thus making Rage with Eyes of Blue playable in your typical build.

1. Dragon's mirror can work. I know it doesn't fit with the deck theme that much but it still works very well. 2. People may not use her, but Priestess with Eyes of Blue can help but Blue Eyes back in the deck if you want to use Rampage with Eyes of Blue.

14,500 isn't even the highest attack possible. Dark Magician Girl gains 300 attack for each "Dark Magician" and "Magician of Black Chaos" in both graveyards. "Magician of Chaos" and " Dark Magician the Dragon Knight" both counts as Dark Magician while in the graveyard so not counting the one "Dark Magician on your field", there is possible 11 targets in your graveyard and 12 targets in the opponent for a total of 6,900 boost to "Dark Magician Girl"'s 2000 = 8,900. If you have 3 "Dark Magician Girl" on the field and so does the opponent, multiply that by 6 = 53,400 boost to "Dark Magician"'s 2500 = 55,900 attack. Then the opponent activates Magic Cylinder.
