It's a shame spell counters itselves are a mess. The ability to hold a spell counter is an effect so it can be negated and thus making you lose the counters (including if flipped face down), the ability to hold a spell counter isn't enough the card has to specifically state that it gains spell counters once a spell is activated and successfully resolves and the dependency on other cards to work is overhaul conter productive since without the actual counters they can't do anything and once that is an issue you are kinda encouraged to not play any traps or hand traps to maximize your consistency. Other than that they look cool af and are the closest thing we could have to a mana system which fits them thematically so the spellcasters can cast their spells :) I love them if you didn't notice.

Pretty much. It's got a scale of 8 but a level of 7 so even if they tribute the fuck over it with a kaiju it'll still go back to the extra deck just to be pendulum summoned again, and since its own self can hold spell counters then its first effect will ALWAYS trigger as long as there's at least one other card for you to destroy even if they chain something to wipe out the other cards.

The best part about this is that it has a scale of 8 but a level of 7 so you can throw 3 of this guy in and have him not brick because you can just use himself to pendulum summon himself, and then use his effect to return the one in the pendulum zone (assuming you put a spell counter on it) back to your hand to negate whatever your opponent throws out. Failing that, if you got 6 spell counters on the field already and two of him in hand (plus something to set the other scale), set the scales, pendulum summon the one, use the special summon effect of the other, and now what your opponent gonna do? I'm sure there's a way to make that more refined but still, he basically pendulum summons himself.

MB Garuda is still an insanely powerful handtrap - and this being able to bounce it back to consistently use each turn is very good. Additionally - this is a Scale 8, meaning that Pendulum Paradox can add back this and Chronograph. This and the Breaker Link being revivable off of MB Medusa if they hit the GY is just further utility. Either way - this is a massive boon to Spell Counter focused decks - with or without any Mythical Beasts.

This is a high scale. so it makes scales easily and it can be pendulum summoned. then after you summoned your dawn dragster and jackel you can use the scale effect to summon himself giving yourself 3 negates for little commitment.

I agree with this one comment on here. The next deck may be an updated Warrior Strike deck. Now Konami needs to be careful because you can add the two Red Eyes Gemini monsters into a Gemini deck build. Return of Red Eyes can special any Gemini monster from the graveyard and normal summon it afterward. So I can't what to see the deck list for the potential R Structure deck 😈

I love this card and his design. I was so disappointed that the original Endymion was such an awful card since his design was so epic. I was hoping this would be able to splash into a Dark Magician deck better but I will have to build a deck solely around this guy instead, which is fine because I like deck building. It's a dark spellcaster, meaning you can search/send it with Timestar and revive it with Black Fang. The bounce effect isn't a hard once per turn. It only needs *one* spell counter to exist anywhere on your field to be used multiple times. It's an eight scale. It searches any normal spell/trap when destroyed. Fukken..... Wow. As a pendulum it can be sent to the extra deck via electrumite. It's not Double Iris Magician, but gaht damn. Hell, it can search Duelist Alliance, which searches pendulumgraphs, so it's part Double Iris. Only so much more of a pain in the ass.
