Excellent episode. Extremely informative. Wish that many more of us listen to to what is being said by a medical professional. God Bless him. Full power to his research efforts.

Very interesting talk, I have an appointment with this Dr next week at Torbay, I quickly discovered when I first became unwell at Christmas that meat makes it a lot worse

Thanks for the excellent information. I'm looking forward to Dr. Desmond's new book due January 7, 2021, though I prefer audiobooks these days. I hope to learn more about microbiome.

A whole food plant based diet ruined my world and messed up my gut. Still dealing with the repercussions.

Very interesting and informative. Just one question: is a fibre-rich diet not very uncomfortable for someone suffering with ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, IBS, etc.? Do they need to start adding fibre to their diet very slowly? And could vegetable juices or vegetable-based smoothies help people make the transition to a whole-food, plant-based diet while suffering from one of these illnesses? Thank you.

Yes. sure one can slowly add fiber to your diet. First add vegetables like pumpkin, oats, carrots, onions, leeks.

The answer is NO. The world isn't ready to accept that kind of change in their diet. You can never get more than 50% approval on this. :)) But you go ahead and enjoy it.
