I was on a late shift onboard a survey vessel assisting (making the tea and coffee) for one of the Geophysicists, just the two of us being bored for hours. I mentioned Time Team and she said was on the first dig that Alice Roberts did a peace in front of camera. I was starstruck/dumbstruck/awestruck all at once. She dished the dirt on all the Time Teamers. Alice, she said, was a really nice person and she said that the producers knew back then she'd be a TV science presenter.

Probably do too fall out by association. I doubt they disagree with you about topics, but it can get tedious dealing with people who want to talk about something, because they think they have pigeon holed you well enough. Also the English in my experience can totally agree with you about, bible being not a path to truth, science being great to explore and explain, essentially an atheist, but they will get insulted on behalf of believers. Although Professor Roberts' started training as MD, Doctor of Medicine, she changed to train as an anatomist, osteoarchaeologist, anthropologist and paleopathologist. That is she studies old bodies, old bones and ancient diseases.
