@@nappyscribe1987 you do know that this material world we call earth is a spiritual school for the human souls to evolve and that a man or a woman who was in this life of an african descent (of the black race) can reincarnate in his or her next life into the white race and other times in other races as well like the chinese, native americans or the aboriginies of australia. And that also some other races incarnate into the black race as well. It is not only a material war which revolves only around the material world; it is a spiritual war, as well. It goes beyond this material world. There is also a bigger war going on the spiritual realms, a war between good and evil. So be aware!

@@nappyscribe1987 That's not exactly what he said. He did criticized religion/theology but he never advocated one religion over another, or atheism or theism. He avoided doing so, intentionally. Black people are way too preoccupied with religious debates.

Whenever we had a great conscious leader or anyone that was nationally renowned that has made a profound effect on the world. . .Its habitual for to say that they were, "Way ahead of their time!" When in fact they was actually "right on time" . . .its the masses of people, WE!; that was not "up to par" nor spiritually equipped to help them manifest their vision which in most cases was a divine message from God and will benefit the entire world.

So I am 3 years into the study of race. I find it life affirming at a personal level. I have been reading Black authors for the last 2 years and it's amazing how much of a different person I am. I see I scare White people many times. I feel so bold, it feels a little dangerous. My deepening understanding of race, it's historical construction, and how antiBlackness really is the foundation of the world, has accelerated what I can only describe as spiritual growth. It feels crazy because all this is internal and I really don't talk to people about it. But I feel alive, a little shook by the enormity of the work we have to do as a collective but also how much growth I need go through as an individual.

White being a melanin deficiency vs black as the reflection of melanin, you will see these concepts play out even in the most micro or macro aspects of material and spirit. Stay diligent and vigilant.

in 2017, almost 2018, what Dr. Wilson is speaking on about people of color is absolute and accurate. Everything that I have learned, thought over, contemplated and surmised, is coming to pass. I am in my late forties, and what I know and realize now, would have caused me to do more when I had the opportunity. Unity and Nation building is so minuscule now until it is mind boggling. We are finished as a people and most are happy to be beneath everyone and I am tired of that mentality, so much so until I stay to myself.

One of the hallmarks of a good theory--especially in the sciences--is often its ability to be used effectively in making predictions. The fact that Amos was able to "predict the future" isn't a reflection of some psychic ability he must've had, but a reflection of the strength of the theories he developed and use to make them; it shows how exceptional of a social scientist and theoretician he was. His scholarship was/is rock-solid! Take a man like Marx whose predictions were often wrong and yet get still touted as some great philosopher. Marx was no Amos Wilson and yet more black revolutionaries know about him and his work than our brother. SMH.

If you’ve watched enough of these lectures, its clear that Cokely & Amos differed on Dubois. Both Men were not wrong. Amos was focusing Dubois tactics. But Cokely was focused on Dubois’s character or lack thereof. Steve got more pushback for making a big deal out of these occult relationships made in secret than he got congratulations. Turned out, a few well known folks were Boule & deeply imbedded within the Afrocentric or “Conscious” community. So in retrospect, Steve’s revaluations explain the conundrum #ADOS finds itself today. That talented 10th or Boule class did more damage to Black American progress than we care to admit. Cokely message still resonates: “Its worse than we thought” -SC

Unfortunately, western European pathology is the standard thought process throughout the world. What the European pathology have done is somewhat unite superficially or erased cosmetically ethnic diversity into a more pliable racial harmony. ie) Although, there are various ethnic groups in China, India and elsewhere. The European collective idealism has united these ethnic diverse groups into one collective idea under the profanity, they all look a like regardless of the opposite. Additionally, the Africans in America has a historical association with Europe than elsewhere. It was the American Anglo-Saxons who championed a further divide between the cultural melting pot in the south. South Americans were more tolerant of African American communities since they had a longer relationship with Africans in Spain. This change to favor an American approach fearing the Africans from their own land would migrate elsewhere to present a threat. As we have seen in Haiti. Not even an island half ruled by Afro Caribbean did not escape and American naval intervention. Homogeneous communities only exist on the periphery and are almost entirely tribal. In order to contextualized European dominance, one must look at the master himself in work. The Vatican. How has the Vatican maintained its effective autocratic rule over Europe. Dialecticalism. In the movie, Matrix, the system noted when humans were given what the computer deemed, a paradise. The humans rebelled. The nature of man is to seek collectivism but also individualism to various degrees. The entire European landscape was actually Christian. Each flag had some form of religious insignia. Although, they were all Christians. Being Christians was the umbrella to which other interpretation existed. The Jesuits, a Catholic sub culture, was the intellectual force behind the schism which superficially reformed the church. It was these intellectuals which then placed men of military minds into assumed roles and responsibilities and gave them the honor of being divinely inspired to be titled noblemen instead of war mongers, which made the populace assume the reality given was relative. It's impossible to unite, the African American presence under "colour" since this can be ambiguously misrepresented. When rap began to gain prominence. The struggle, wasn't against an equal oppressor it was against each other simply by geography. I.D is a complex apparatus which must be contextualized intimately. Rather than overlooked as a minor causality. Never in history has people been collectivized or regimented under the colour of their skin. People are more easily governed through their vices not virtues, Bonaparte.

Whenever people ask, "Who is one person that has passed that you would love to sit and talk with if given the chance?" My response: "Amos N. Wilson" Not "Allah", "Jesus" or any of those busters.

I love Dr. Amos Wilson too, but Allah is not a person. I thank Allah for Dr Amos Wilson, who spoke at my college in 1993. Yes, I said "I thank Allah..." and I am well-versed in being an indigenous as well as an Afrikan descendant.
