As Dr. John Lennox says, Where there are laws, there must be a Lawgiver. I think you should check him out and possibly consider him as an interview. He was a student under C. S. Lewis. I think his class might have been the last class Lewis lectured, but I may be mistaken about this. Dr. Lennox is a mathematician and a fascinating man, with pondering mind and humble spirit. I would love just to sit in a room and listen to him talk forever about whatever is going on in his mind. He talks about such deep things of the Bible.

By far, one of my favorite episodes of yours. Hoping Bernardo will return and you continue to bounce your perspectives against each other. Beyond the obvious topics, I found most impressive that both you and he have accomplished an extremely difficult feat. You gave each other the grace to recognize you are not the same people you once were. It is very easy to meet a stranger and share all of the lowlights of your life and they don't care. They don't know that person. They only know the present you, the person who came out on the other side. It is nearly impossible to give this same grace to family members and recognize that you / they are not the same person they used to be. I have taught this lesson to my children. Give your siblings the grace, without judgment, to change and grow. Meet people where they are at, not where they were. You did well, Bernardo and Andrew!

As my dad used to say, “You are your Fathers son”, Andrew. I was 50 before I understood what that meant. Your father’s understanding of how to think, enjoy life, and explain it is amazing. This was the most interesting conversation I’ve heard between two people in my life. Two weeks ago I never heard of you. Lol Thank you both. Ps. I find it hilarious you did not say in the show note’s he’s your dad. Im literally crying as i write this. What an interesting journey. :-)

Your father's words echo the conversations between my grandfather and I twenty years ago. "Programmers are a dime a dozen" he told me after I expressed a desire to go into computer science. For me, Andrew Huberman is for the 2020's what Carl Sagan was for the 80's. (not sure if ever said b4) Andrew, this episode was particularly touching. This honest and warm conversation reconnected me with that unique love and excitement for research and curiosity. There was so much on it. Listening Dr Huberman Sr explaning Chaos and Relativity in a such simplistic way and with all that I've learned from the Huberman Podcast took me back to my childhood days talking about science with my dad after watching Cosmos together!. As a South American living in Singapore and listening this Podcast from day one, once again (my third comment ever), thanks! (Had to hide my emotions at the end of it while listening at my office) Also fun to see that you not only got love for science and from your dad but also to black shirts!

One of the most human, sensitive and moving episode I've listened to. It connected with me. The dictatorship in Chile made my parents flee from their country. They arrived in Quebec (French province of Canada), without knowing the language, lacking ressources, with two little suitcases. They knew no one, but they had each other. Many years passed before they could go back. I admire their strength and perseverance. As the first immigrant generation born outside Chile, I was priviledged to benefit from my parents' support and care. Authenticity and curiosity have also been part of my life since childhood and I am most grateful to them for that. I honor those values and keep them close to my heart. Now it is up to me to continue to build on this. In my work, my patients feel this authentic touch (as I've been told)! I connect with them with openness and honesty, guiding them the best way I can. Welcoming their vulnerability and mine, through care and growth. Thank you so, so much, Dr Huberman, for this episode.

I am extremely excited to learn from your father and yourself. This is a very exciting podcast episode for me. I need to get back to therapy again. Thank you for introducing better help to me in the past. That's interesting to know about the type of education Father Dr. Huberman mentioned about reciting poems along with the strict environment. I remember when I was in elementary school, Sat & Sun's of the school transformed into Chinese school. We also had to recite poems from ancient scholars. The mannerisms/rules/respect towards teachers was equivalent to that of your parents. Extremely strict in comparisons to today's mannerism towards education.

While this episode included discussions on science, it was the personal aspect of the conversation that was deeply relatable and surreal. As an immigrant and a PhD student in the US, I was struck by the many parallels between his father’s life and my own, despite the years and cultures that separate us. This podcast was more than a conversation, it was sharing of life, choices, and experiences. I’m incredibly grateful to Andrew and his father for sharing their story.

I wish I had a dad or mom like yours. My dad didn’t care much about me, and he was very aggressive towards my mom. We are five siblings, and I’m the only boy. I definitely needed a good father figure in my life. My mom was very strict - we could only do what she wanted us to do. I’m 26 now, and I still don’t know what I really want. I haven’t achieved much, and I struggle with depression. Others my age have already achieved a lot. My dad passed away last year, and I’m sad, but at the same time, I feel angry when I think about him.
