So, reading through, to enjoy the afterglow of this wondrous video, I realized that whenever I see one of your interviews come into my YT feed I feel excited, knowing enrichment is at hand. You and your wife cast an amazing light. It makes me cry as I say this truth. Truly inspiring. Thank you for this life-changing, captivating interview. It's a treasure!💞

Hey Michael!!! Thank you for having Bernie Siegel I enjoyed the whole time of the interview. I never heard So many of beautiful life stories or life lessons from one guest. I sensed Dr. Single to be a wonderful human being. He gives or center his priority to people's stories with respect, love , and dedication. By the end I saw my self with my hands and arms holding my chest. He touched my heart with grace and I didn't want to let it go. Very inspiring!!! I remember also his ability in decoding the emotional messages from drawings .interesting to me. I love to draw. Thank you for sharing such a loving and practical person.

DId Dr. Bernie Siegel ever give talks in the late 80's on how to discretely tell patients they had cancer so that they didn't flip out and end up dying a few months later. If it was, then I saw this compassionate Doctor on TV (back when he had hair).

I'm so old and yet think so young but I too never had love for myself in any meaningful way. I still gravitate to woman that give nothing back and take everything. All that is thanks to the wonderful gift of having a cold, controlling, sadistic drunken mother. I now think we never get over the good or the bad of early childhood so I spend my life just trying to survive rather than flourish. I wish it weren't so. I'm only here because I have God in my life. I wish you nothing but happiness.
@Jillyjogs5 жыл бұрын
@@dennislaux What I have learnt is that we choose our family and most if not all of our relationships to learn from. I had the most loving parents so I was lucky, however going out into the world was such a shock for me, to find how cruel people can be. I felt very separate and alone and 'different' from others, and it made my youth and indeed much of my life difficult. However, now in my 'mature' years, I realise I had to learn to rise above the pettiness and cruelty that a lot of people think as normal. I think that to learn from our lives and to love who you are is the key. Giving to others and loving them taught me so much. I could not have done that without first learning to love myself, and who I am. There is so much suffering in the world, I choose/chose to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
@dinniebeattie46795 жыл бұрын
@@Jillyjogs not sure if that's true for children who are badly abused, sexually exploited and or unloved. I'm stuck at babies and toddlers suffering. Please don't say that we can learn from them, or that god wants us to care. Care, that goes without saying, I'm sure that these poor little mites would rather forego the missionaries and just be safe and loved. Please don't say we choose our family.
@Jillyjogs5 жыл бұрын
@@dinniebeattie4679 I do not, at present, have it in me to love those that abuse the innocent. Perhaps one day. What I have seen, in my long life, is that most of those that abuse, have been abused, that doesn't condone, but for me helps to understand. Nothing is to be gained from hate, that I do know, the world has seen enough hate.
