Oh my goodness!!! THAT’S what I’ve been as a member of my family?!? A conscientious observer?!? I didn’t come to Christ until my late 40s! My family also told me I was different!!! Wow! I had heard God’s whispering all my life. I knew His voice when I was at my lowest and I knew it when I was in my 40’s and He told me I needed to read His book. It took over a year of reading and talking with Him to finally accept Him. Thank you for verbalizing that for me.

Dr Swain, Thank you for some much needed information on how to protect our children from so many negative influences. Your views are very helpful. I have homeschooled my granddaughter for 4 years. Next year she will be in high school and the plan is for her to go to a brick and mortar school. Dr. Swain is right. My daughter was teased while in a Christen school, we put her in public school because I had to return to work after being on sick leave. It was a good move for us and our daughter. We are Christen and so is our daughter. When we sent her off to college all I could do was ask the Lord to protect her and to give me wisdom to answer her questions when she called home. This was in the ‘90’s, and early 2000!

I really admire how this woman presents herself. She has such a gentle and approachable way of speaking that allows people to truly listen to her message. I’m working on that kind of grace myself! What frustrates me, though, is that these conversations are happening because of the narrative being pushed by global elites controlling mainstream media. It feels like they’re manipulating everyone’s conversations by stirring up chaos in the media and on social platforms. I feel for people who are less fortunate, but honestly, it’s hard for me to fully sympathize sometimes. I grew up in a rough environment too-maybe not the same as others, but damaging all the same. I’ve faced countless challenges, but I didn’t become someone who thinks others should be as miserable as I’ve been. I’m genuinely happy for others when good things happen to them, even if I’m in a dark place. Sure, I wish things had been different for me, but I don’t believe my struggles should drag others down. It’s disheartening to see this mindset where people, out of envy or resentment, label others as privileged or racist simply because they’ve had a better life. It feels like some expect life to be handed to them and hold others responsible for their own hardships. But even though I’ve had a difficult life, I don’t resent others for their blessings. No one should have to feel guilty for the life they’ve been given. The conversation around things like “white privilege” feels like a distraction-a narrative that the media is pushing and that’s taking focus away from more meaningful issues. It’s frustrating to see this waste of energy, but I don’t think the people caught in this mindset should be dismissed. They need help-help that can guide them to a healthier way of thinking. I hope they can find mentors who can lift them up, helping them to change their perspective and rise above the resentment. It’s not about making others feel guilty; it’s about empowering those who have been struggling to create a better future for themselves.

I have worked in the GOP booth at different events. We will have games for the children. What we do is ask them history questions like the levels of government and the 5th president. And hands dow the home school children get it right. The homeschool children are polite, well spoken just all around good. I praise parents that homeschool.
