The problem is the standards have been lowered to have them in the military. Having sex changes means time off the field and constant medical needs i.e. hormone treatments to maintain that sex change. If you're in a middle of a war how are you going to get these meds? Some of this is not realistic. A woman can get pregnant. Do you want a pregnant woman in the middle of a war shooting at an enemy and being shot at? When she has that baby should that baby be separated from the mother? or taken to work? The 1st 5 yrs are the most important of a child's life within a family, Who should be raising this child? The state? What if this soldier is single when she gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby? The soldier is under a contract. Will the military release her from her contract? It's not about loving your neighbor as a Christian. It's about the safety of this country and the safety of the soldiers. Think about it.

He has served in the military for nearly 2 decades and held multiple positions and promotions. He has multiple military accommodations and has views that align with strength over social pressure. You question his ability based on his running a large organization…I would point out that it’s the fact he knows the inner workings as a soldier, has the mindset of a leader, and has visions of improvement for the DOD, that make him qualified. I personally don’t see him an incompetent and as a matter of fact, it’s his resume that proves he’s a hard worker and dedicates himself to his tasks! By the way, he’ll be taking a LARGE pay cut to assume this role…so can’t question motives, unless you think Trump is Hitler and Pete is Wilhelm Keitel 😂

The beginning of the fall of the military was in the late 70´s 80´s when they dropped standards to recruit women and others who should have never been let in because they couldn't accomplish the PT goals or pass the psyche test. I saw a young man in my hotel in full uniform and he had normal hair-no high and tight and way longer than I'd ever seen. I asked if he was in the reserves and he said nope I'm in the regular Army. could have knocked me over with a feather. When my sister was in desert storm she talked about how unfair it was for the guys who had to carry all the heavy equipment where the girls were braiding their hair. (not her) but all the other woman in her unit were useless. They used up the water rations taking long showers, complained and whined about any physical work, and were basically anchors around the neck of the unit.

When men become weaklings and are more concerned about themselves than about others and country, God will use women to lead. I don't know about you but I know some women who are excellent soldiers, airmen, and right now involved in highly secret operations even being called out of retirement because they are so talented. You have a good point about the government system America has. Finished up a crew chief in an AHC . I was proud of the military but have paid attention to the government system. A lot of bad politics than and a lot of bad politics now. Communist influence in our government system is gone to far. The checks and balances are not working because of the corruption in the system. A solution to this problem. Can start with abolishing the democratic communist party from our government system. I really wanna hear anyone talk about pregnancy and breastfeeding among the troops. Is anyone in leadership even aware that beween pregnancy and breastfeeding putting females in a non deployable state, our units have to hold open infantry slots for up to 2 years per child? This means our units are chronically understaffed, and they aren't allowed to fill the spots, while we are paying full salary and medical benefits for 4 years if you have back-to-back children. WHAT? It's possible to go your full 4 year term without ever. Actually doing your job. Meanwhile, units are training and deploying half staffed at tax payer expense.

I had a 'white' neighbor in prison who went by the name of Irish Johnny, who'd formerly been a captain in the Aryan nation and who wore the same tattoo with the same words across his whole back. IJS? My Father served in the Marine Corps in the 60's, I served in the Marine Corps in the 80's and my son served in the Marine Corps in the 2000's. All three of us agree that we wouldn't do it again in this country today. It's VERY sad. After the way we've seen the capabilities of the current military have declined and the lack of patriotism and motivation, there's no chance I'd sign those papers today. I'm confused what was even said here? This entire interview just eludes at something, but provides no substance or example? I assume this is just supposed to be a promo for book sales. Also how can you refute being an extremist when you say things like "I don't want women in combat". Regardless if you agree or disagree with the sentiment, that is objectively an extreme stance. If you were in combat and there was 200lb of gear to carry between you and another person while being shot at, would you want Hegseth as a partner or a female? It's okay to acknowledge that males and females are different. Men are physically stronger and that fact cannot be intelligently debated. That doesn't mean women can't be invloved in "combat", for example a female fighter pilot can be just as affective. He didn't elaborate on specific positions, but i'm willing to bet he meant where physical strenght is critical.

@@chill14later are you military? Do you understand how small of a percentage of military are even in combat roles to begin with? After 20 minutes of talking, why do we have to speculate on what was said? Why couldn't a point be clearly made to definitively say "this is what he's saying". Instead we have to infer off your assumption that he's referring to "times when physical strength is a factor". I spent 3 hours watching this 20 minute video, and I'm not seeing anything that leads me to that presume context regardless, but even if we use it, you're insinuating that just existing as male automatically means they're physically stronger than a woman, right? Even if we do follow that, what is the point? In order to be poised to be in these roles, you will have to demonstrate an ability to do the job or be dismissed, so if they are demonstrating capability of doing the job, what does it matter their gender or idealogies? There's never a scenario where I want someone like Hegseth as a partner, just to be clear.

America lost the Vietnam war, a tiny country to the military might of America a super power...why because the vietcong had a more capable and well drilled force...and the americans could not cope with fighting in the jungle, soldiers were feigning injuries so they could be sent back home or to a hospital or just surendering to the enemy..but there were no WOKE army personnel in the american army back then they were apparently patriots of the highest order, but definitely not WOKE..so Hegseth's war on woke people in the army just falls flat just a load of nonsense..

Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary? What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. God is not now a “racist”. He has extended His love to all races of people through the New Covenant fulfilled by His Son’s blood at Calvary. The Apostle Paul warned against using “genealogies” in our faith in 1 Tim. 1:4, and Titus 3:9. If the New Covenant is "everlasting" in Hebrews 13:20 and the Old Covenant is "obsolete" in Hebrews 8:13, why would any Christian believe God is going back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period? Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Gal 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
