Dear Liz, I thought of you today when I was feeling grateful and started thinking of people who have really helped spread hope and give support to this community, and who have influenced my journey. I want to thank you so much for all the work and time and passion you put in to what you do and into your channel. I chose this video to leave my comment as this interview you did lead me to Primal Trust which has been such a big piece for me on my journey and has helped me grow as a person and take important big baby steps back into life. I am also grateful for Raelan and Dr. Cat so if they happen to see this know you also have a big place in my heart. Thank you Liz, you have such a kind heart and you are also very clear in your communication. You are changing and saving lives and my life would not be the same without you. Wishing you a beautiful time this holiday seasons and sending you lots of love. From Elle

As a physician who specializes in treating chronic pain and other complex functional issues, I believe that what Dr. Cat is teaching addresses the highest level crux of the problem. What a blessing that she was able to discover this, heal herself and make so many beautiful and powerful distinctions along the way. Liz, I'm so happy that you were also able to be healed and what a great interviewer you are. God bless you both for the work you are doing. Godspeed

Great interview! Thank you!! After a lifetime of good health, I was dx with lyme a couple years ago and my life turned into a living nightmare. My focus has been totally on "fixing" everything that is "wrong" with me-and believe-you-me, doctors gave me lists of what was wrong. So I've spend the last two years chasing fixes and cures and feel traumatized from this entire journey (literally-the process just seemed to pour gas on the fire!!). This interview is touching on what I think I'm coming to realize as the truth.

The information and community in the Primal trust mentorship was the missing piece for me after a year of dnrs. Dr. Cat put words to so many of the patterns that I was noticing and filled in a few gaps that led to a big leap in recovery. Great interview!

I suffered from trauma and drug induced psychosis, schizophrenia, derealization, depersonalization, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder. My brain was super fractured. I had disturbing and fractured thoughts. My sense of self was complete broken. She is absolutely right. The coping mechanism may work but you must get your brain in sync by rebuilding your identity. What you want, and who you are and who you want to be and where you want to go.

Thank you for sharing this powerful interview and your own healing Liz! Dr. Cat's discoveries really resonate with me and there's a lot of crossover with how I healed from CFS/ME. The part about letting go of trying to fix it or get over the symptoms was a pivotal turning point for me too! Do you know how I can find the study Cat mentioned about the lumberjacks who tested positive for Lyme but didn't have symptoms? So often, lab findings are incidental and not causing our symptoms! I'd love to read that study. Thanks to both of you wise women for sharing your healing truths!

I cannot for the life of me find it. A doctor told me about it about 7 years ago when I was really sick. He described many people get bit by ticks, have the bacteria in their testing, and do not feel ill. Much like other who might have mold or food allergy markers that are high but don't "feel" ill. So the feeling of the illness isn't always a correlation to the presentation of illness/infection/etc. As a physical therapist we were taught in PT school a similar concept. Many people who get MRI's show a "herniated disc" but do not have pain. So is it true that a herniated disk always results in pain? Same kind of concept here.

@@primaltrustofficial Thanks Cat! I'd love to find that study. I was told that high titers of Epstein Barr and other viruses were causing my CFS/ME. But I recovered through mind-body work and have realized those findings were not the cause of my symptoms. (They were either the effect or incidental findings.) I work with clients with chronic pain and fatigue and often cite studies showing that healthy, asymptomatic people have bulging, herniated and degenerative discs, what Dr. John Sarno called "normal abnormalities." I was excited when you spoke about this for Lyme. Like you, I finally got to the point (after 13 years!) where I ignored doctor's scary lab findings and shifted my thoughts, emotions and behaviors instead. So much more empowering and healing!

@@primaltrustofficial Fantastic, we are two peas in a pod! My former mind-body coach and mentor is a PT who now does Sarno-based coaching. Sarno's work was a total game changer for me! I have a chart with imaging findings in asymptomatic people but KZbin isn't letting me attach it. But here's one great study showing that pain-free people have degenerative changes as part of a normal, healthy aging process. So many of these scans and labs scare people needlessly. We need leaders who demonstrate that they value themselves and their time for a reasonable rate. ME/CFS Integrative doctors are now charging $1000 per hour. Dr. Cat's program is 96 dollars per month, which is more affordable than multiple other programs. Dr. Cat has a family and her success (after being broke for many years) is based on the value she provides others. I know she also helps those who can't afford her program. In an ideal world, chronic illness support and recovery would be covered by health insurance. Note -- I see a large representation of rescuers, over-givers, and people pleasers in the chronic illness community. Telling people that if they recover and succeed they must be a saint who works for free isn't sustainable. Charging for your work doesn't mean you aren't doing your work out of love. That said, I understand the spirit of your message and the frustration of how expensive this journey is, myself having lost everything and being dependent on others.

I always watch your interview.. but I have 2 observations: 1. On your channel ( like on the other’s about cfs) the max part of interviews are from people who offer then consultation or have some potential profit coming from the visibility. Uhm… 2. People says they have all sorts of things: Lyme, fibromyalgia, cfs… but: cfs is a diagnosis that is made where there is no other explanation so if you have Lyme you don’t have cfs but you have Lyme.

Her getting a modest home for having a program which has helped hundreds of people, is hurting you how? I'm confused considering there are functional doctors who charge 15 k just to see them before even ordering a single test. Her program is 96 per month and includes many resources. A tiny tiny fraction.
