I love this song! Twinkie's voice range is just amazing. It's mind boggling to hear her! Even sitting, she belts out every note with ease. Love you Twinkie!!!

I love ALL of the Clark Sisters (and Mother Mattie Moss Clark too) but Twinkie's voice has always moved me in a way that the rest of them couldnt. Its pure, its real, its authentic, its geninue. It takes a LOT to make me spechless but Twinkie in her PRIME could do just that to me. I just be in AWE of her ANNOINTED voice. Just effortless flat footed SANGING. Twinkie has never gotten her just due...she is THE CLARK SOUND IMO. Whew lord, now I wanna go to church somewhere LOL

They wrecked that song sitting down, reading the lyrics from a piece of paper. This has to be the original mic drop moment. And we acknowledge the simplicity of the lyrics.

My sister was the original lead singer in this song. The choir is Michael Scott & the Outreach Choir from Philadelphia. They were a young adult choir. The lead psalmist was Shavonne Edwards.

The Movie didn't show that Twinkie was with her Mom 2 yrs before she passed in 1992....The movie made it look like they were astranged until Dr Mattie Moss Clark's passing in 1994

The clark sisters along with the actresses in the movie said that a lot of things in the movie were cut out for timing

Mikey Williams not only cut...but fabricated. It’s a movie of course, but remember they pretended Twinkie had a breakdown because she wasn’t there for her mother...

Wow...to come across this live recording of this is indescribable! This song was written by one of Philly's finest organist the late Min. Kevin L. Wilkins, the original lead was Shavonne Edwards who transitioned about 2 weeks. You can hear the original version on the album Micheal Scott and the outreach choir!!

Twinkie really is the best to me she knows exactly what to do like she gets her words from God. Sometimes you end up in a good situation where you have footage that was originally high quality and made it through archive in an amenable format. As a general rule, the better our screens get the worse older videos will look.
