This is the kind of man we need on the Supreme Court. The exact polar opposite from Clarence Thomas and superior in every way.

@@josiplilic3384 Well, if I know anything about Dr. Cornel West, it's that his intellectualism doesn't mean anything to him unless he can use it to _serve._ And although I wouldn't have guessed it beforehand, our dear brother is running for PRESIDENT now (in fact it was quite a shock to me lol)! Because in his words, truth and justice is what he pursues, it's always been what he's pursued, and it always will be what he pursues, and Dr. West believes running in the 2024 presidential election is how he can best continue to do that. And I respect it. I totally empathize with the sentiment though, the Supreme Court particularly feels like a dirty, corrupt institution that represents everything Cornel doesn't. I would say though, it doesn't need to be that way, and we can play our parts in shaping it over the generations. Towards justice, freedom, equality, liberty, and truth-for _everybody._ I'm interested in how you feel about the recent announcement of his run though, so if you see this, let me know!

I have been blessed with the ability to hear from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., not in person or at a speech or march. No, I met with Dr. King philosophically, spiritually, morally, and as a human and it was my ears willing to be open, and he entered my soul. When Dr. King said he had been to the promised land, Dr. King was a time traveller looking into a world where love need not fear, love not hidden, and love in love. Dr. King's vision as he spoke allowing me to open my eyes. I understood that Dr. King knew he was not to travel with us on this envisioned journey. How many marches, protests, boycotts, sit-ins, letters, articles, speeches, lectures, elections, and movements will does it take to correct the hearts and minds of those willfully blind and refusing the gift of sight and the ears to hear about love. The time for a super-extraterritorial-humane-intersectional movement to make possible the change so many want to experience but cannot effectuate. A life where anyone can be seen and heard, that embrace their neighbors and neighborhoods as community. A life where we are all musicians and joyous listeners.

It sure would be great to see the likes of Gucci and Chanel supporting someone like Dr. Cornel West instead of Trump and Biden. That would be Justice.

*Universal Public Service Announcement:* Can *Dr. West* and all people with clout on the left please start educating everyone about both the: (1) difference between right-authoritarian vs. right-libertarian; & (2) difference between left-authoritarian vs left-libertarian? It’s long overdue. People aren’t cattle or sheep: They will understand if we educate them. Though we need to educate (& learn) about all the nuance.

Do it yourself, I'm curious what you know! And btw. it doesn't even matter if he, Cornell, does it or not, because it doesn't change the political landscape nor the power structure. The latter is the goal for every worker, not clinging to definitions and identity policies.

@@teardrop-in-a-fishbowl Become intellectually responsible. You have to be more analytic than that if you want the best political model that reflects true reality: The recently discovered 2-axis political model is the most logical, empirically sound & practical political model humanity has atm. You can’t refute that, this is what reason shows. Verify these truths with your own research. Good luck!

@@user-wl2xl5hm7k Haha, you're funny. "Intellectual responsible". Well, the two party system caused all the misery and desperation in the US and beyond the border. You can't argue that! The truth is where the facts are. There's no progress but division, radicalization and more suffering,no matter what party is ruling. You're desperate to defend revolving doors between economic powers and politicians which made your country "The riches ever"but millions of people living in poverty, with a declining life expectancy, high infant mortality, highest homelessness rate and more private bankruptcies due to medical and educational debt than in ANY other Western country. You're advocating for a bankrupt model, "American Exeptionalism", while not recognizing better models and approaches to handle the outcome of unfettered greed in the capitalist system. Your solution is more power to those who're responsible for all the damages. The "American way" is plastered with death and destruction and you praise it. Well done goblin, be more intellectual and let be your infantil, sense and fact less bubbling. Have a nice day.

Well brother Cornell, you better let go the religious rhetoric and picking and choosing in that regard. As much as I love you as a fine human being who fights for what's right, your religion causes more harm than doing good in this world. Good people do good things, end of story. There's less connection between a believe in a almighty God than between humanistic values and ones actions. We know how awful Christianity, Christians, acted in the past driven by their believes. We know how awful parts of it act now, especially in the US. And yes, these awful people are part of your believe, using the same "Holy Books" to satisfy their plans and actions. "Oh, it's all a matter of interpretations and these people aren't the right Christians." Well they're and when was any of the Christian dominations a force for good? Never! People are! We don't need this carnage to be good. We have universal humanistic principles and social agreements. Structures evolved from understanding, necessities and "invisible but reliable" contracts how we want to live together. We better act on universal principles and defined rights, humanism stands for, than giving any false, divisive, deceptive and "superior" believe system a always failing shot to solve peoples problems. Any believe claims being the right one, having the right book/books and that only they pray to the right god. That alone contradicts their believe, the existence of a "creator of all that is" itself. Religion don't unite people for the better, they don't have answers, only questions, and none of their gods ever acted, acted on behalf of the suffering people. It's "Waiting for Godot", like hoping our leaders would do the right thing when being deep in the pockets of those who cause all the pain on earth. "But what about love? We should love each other, it's in the Bibel." Well no. We can't and we shouldn't love each other, but respect and do not harm anyone in selfish actions. I don't need no old books to know that neither you. To have progress, a better place to live and a fair share in the wealth what's created, it only needs good people acting together on behalf of the desperate one who can't!
