I played this song for my mother in the hospital on her death bed. She had stage 4 bone marrow cancer and her mind was gone, however I asked her if she accepted Jesus as her lord and savior and she lit up light a light bulb and smiled and said “yes!” In that moment I knew I could say goodbye with peace in my heart. I know how you feel, bro. It’s really tough at times. But as I reflect on all of the years that have gone by, I can see the impression of the footsteps of that “fourth” Man walking side by side with me through all the fires that I have endured. He is faithful to keep His word, that He will never leave us nor forsake us, even though at times we have been unfaithful to Him. In the O.T., our God was revealed to the Jews by many names, such as YHWH Tsidkenu, YHWH Rapha, YHWH Jireh, etc. But since the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, all of those wonderful names of God have been superseded by the name “Father.” God chose to set His love upon us, to be our eternal Father, by adopting us to Himself. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He first loved us, and gave His Son to die for us. Having given His all, His own Son, to adopt us, and even wrote our names in His book of life before the foundation of the world, and has prepared an eternal city for us, as well as a special mansion for each of us, and an eternal kingdom to inherit, how can He not be with us at all times? We can never be alone, bro. If His eye is on every insignificant sparrow in the field which have not the Holy Spirit within them, how much more is His Spirit with us every moment of every day, for whom He went through so much trouble to create and to save? And this is why we “are on the winning side” because He has set His love upon us forever. Just a few more days, bro, it won’t be long, but hardship is coming first. But “Who” is with you always, even in the fire? The One who bears the holes in His hands and feet, and gash in His side, who first went through the fire for you. May the Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you: The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Oh what a blessing, Curtis Hutson baptized me in 1972 at a new years eve watchnight service at Forrest Hill B.C. He was one of the greatest preachers that's ever lived. I love him dearly.

Dr. Curtis Hutson was a truly great man of God. I met him in 1993 at Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, MI. He was look good in shape, his face was thick and tan. I did talked to him in sign language, he knew some sign well, because his daughter is interpreter at church. I hear that he had cancer in 1992. Three years later he passed away. I notice him on video first time how awful his face was. That was change so dramatically. Well, he is now peace in heaven. Praise the Lord! Amen!

I first heard Dr. Curtis Hutson preach at the 1974 Sword of the Lord conference in Indianapolis, IN. I was a new Christian, and thought he was one of the most powerful preachers of the Word of God I had ever heard. He won many souls to Christ. I first heard him sing this song about 10 years ago, and I want to thank the person who put it up. Through modern technology, "He being dead, yet speaketh" Hebrews 11:4 It is my prayer that many will be saved before it is eternally too late.
