Hey Liz, just wanted to know you are awesome. You've single-handedly helped my family and I understand Mage Knight. Thank you!

Just wanted to say thanks for putting these videos up. Mage Knight is a very fluid, intuitive game.....once you understand its rules which are quite unintuitively explained in the rulebook(s!). This is why it is the kind of game where you need a friend to explain how it works to you. You were that friend to me -- Thanks!

Wow, I knew you were the perfect teacher for this game and what a brilliant idea to break it up by subject in addition to your playthrough! Units in particular are often misunderstood for players I've introduced the game to and you touched on several of them, such as "no, they are not repeatable" and "you can't take them into a dungeon with you". Looking forward to more subjects within this vast game.

Please do strategy guides for virtually every game Liz. These MAKE MY LAZY BUTT WANT TO PLAY. By increasing knowledge they inspire me to want to use that knowledge by playing my expensive game.

09:44 You not only not replenish the unit offer, you completly create a new unit offer at the start of each round (day/night). This is different to spells and skills as well.

I was thinking about the point as well. Also, spells and advanced action cards will be shifted the position down and add new cards on their topmost.

Dr D, this is an excellent series of videos, I have been looking at Mage Knight for a while now and will definitely be getting a copy now. Thanks

I swear, this may just be my favorite game ever. I thought that topping Gloomhaven was impossible, but MK seems to be doing it :) Thanks for the guides! Your videos are incredibly helpful.

Well done. I've watched all the MK vids, so far. Really looking forward to the next one in the series as I still screw up wounds and damage.

When you disband a unit does it always come into play 'readied' or does in mirror the condition of the disbanded unit? ie. A used unit is disbanded and replaced with a new unit - is it readied or used? Thanks for these videos - I feel so close to be able to play with less time in the rules than on the table.

The new Unit will be ready! Just looked it up: "The new Unit will be Ready when you take control of it, regardless of whether the previous Unit was spent or not."
