To quote the most important essayist of our time, Theodore Dalrymple: “The sexual revolutionaries' ideas about the relations between men and women-entailing ever greater sexual liberty, ever less mastery of the appetite-were so absurd and utopian that it is hard to understand how anyone could have taken them seriously. But mere absurdity has never prevented the triumph of bad ideas, if they accord with easily aroused fantasies of an existence freed of human limitations.” This mentality engenders a radical aversion, even phobia, of judgement. Again, Dalrymple: “Not all the malnourished are drug-takers, however. It is when you inquire into eating habits, not just recent but throughout entire lifetimes, that all this malnutrition begins to make sense. The trail is a short one between modern malnutrition and modern family and sexual relations.” That ‘short trail’ must, for many people, be denied and obfuscated at all costs... the Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein scandals are of course high profile, but sadly not actually extreme, examples of what’s at stake. [In fact Majorie Taylor Greene has recently revealed that government has been in possession of ‘Suspicious Activity Reports’, going back years, that show evidence of extensive sex trafficking but are left to gather dust] The more one reads Dalrymple, the more obvious it is that virtually all societal dysfunction, not merely malnutrition, has that same short trail. Likewise, to quote the late Rabbi Jonathan Sacks (and I dare say this could pass for ‘hate speech’ in today’s’Britain, though we know it’s not hate they are concerned about, it’s the courage (rage of heart) to speak the truth. Sacks: “While Israel was staying in Shittim, the men began to indulge in sexual immorality with Moabite women, who invited them to the sacrifices to their gods. The people ate the sacrificial meal and bowed down before these gods. So Israel yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor. And the Lord’s anger burned against them. (Num. 25:1-3) This could not be more serious. It is the first time the Israelites commit the cardinal sin of idolatry. Most of the commentators do not regard the Golden Calf as an idol. It was intended as a substitute Moses - a vehicle for receiving divine messages - rather than an object of worship in its own right. But the idolatry at Shittim was real. For the first time we see the Israelites bowing down to Baal, the Canaanite god. It was a betrayal of everything they should have stood for. What is more, this was the first time the Israelites sinned gratuitously, as it were. Previously they had been driven by fear or hunger or thirst or disappointment. None of these was operative in the case of the Moabite women. This was sheer sexual self-indulgence, yielding to temptation unthinkingly. Even the idolatrous act was undertaken not in any spirit of rebelliousness, but almost as an afterthought: first sex, then food, then pagan worship. If the first, why not the second and the third? The casualness of it almost beggars belief. Worst of all, it began with sex. To understand the significance of this, recall the book of Genesis. We would have expected it to be either an affirmation of monotheism or a critique of idolatry. But it is neither. It is a critique of the sexual mores of the surrounding culture. Abraham and Isaac feared that they would be murdered for their wives. The people of Sodom surrounded Lot’s house, bent on committing an act of homosexual rape. Shechem raped and abducted Jacob’s daughter Dina. Potiphar’s wife tried to seduce Joseph, and when she failed, had him imprisoned on a false charge of rape. The implicit argument is profound. What is wrong with idolatry is that it is worship of power - and in human terms the worship of power translates into the untrammelled pursuit of sexual desire.”

@@kiljoy3254begs the question why do they control the online p0rn industry? 🤔
@kiljoy32542 ай бұрын
@@daniel542 To quote the late Rabbi Jonathan Sacks: “Particularly chilling is the scene Josephus describes of Jerusalem under siege. The Jews were heavily outnumbered. There were 25,000 within the city, facing Titus’ well-equipped and disciplined army of 60,000 soldiers. They might have held out were it not that they too were split: the Zealots under Elazar ben Simon, an extremist faction led by Simon ben Giora, and a third force of Idumeans and others under John of Giscala. Josephus tells us that for much of the time these groups were more intent on attacking one another than the enemy outside the walls. They killed each other’s men, destroyed one another’s food supplies, and engaged in what Josephus calls ‘incessant, suicidal strife’. At one point in his narrative he breaks off to lament: ‘Unhappy city! What have you suffered from the Romans to compare with this?’ What makes the fall of Jerusalem relevant to the politics of the twenty-first century is that it saw the first appearance in history of religiously motivated terror. The terrorists were known as the Sicarii, named after their favourite weapon, the short-bladed dagger. This is how Josephus describes them: These in broad daylight in the middle of the city committed numerous murders. Their favourite trick was to mingle with festival crowds, concealing under their garments small daggers with which they stabbed their opponents . . . First to have his throat cut by them was Jonathan the High Priest, and after him many were murdered every day. More terrible than the crimes themselves was the fear they aroused, every man as in war hourly expecting death.6 Their aim, as with their successors today, was to inflame relations between the local population and the occupying power, to generate an atmosphere of fear, and to incite reprisals on both sides, adding fuel to the flames of conflict” If I have this right, not long after that, with the destruction of the second Temple in 70AD, the Jews were effectively scattered to the winds. However they, the sages, focused on education, the Rabbinical traditions, Midrash, which prepared, equipped, the Jews for extraordinary accomplishments. For such a relatively tiny population it is well known they are over represented in virtually every field… the sciences, entertainment, military, law etc etc. this is power and power corrupts, particularly in the context of a broader civilisation that has all but turned its back on God (it would be brazen indeed, to lay the blame for that at the door of the Jews, though I don’t doubt many would, and probably do). Again Sacks: “Moses repeatedly criticises the Israelites, telling them, ‘It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you are going to take possession of the land’ (Deut. 9: 5). This note is sustained to the end of the prophetic age. Malachi, last of the prophets, says, ‘From the rising of the sun to its setting, my name is great among the nations . . . but you profane it’ (Mal. 1: 11-12). This is a point of immense consequence. A chosen people is the opposite of a master race, first, because it is not a race but a covenant; second, because it exists to serve God, not to master others. 5 A master race worships itself; a chosen people worships something beyond itself. A master race values power; a chosen people cares for the powerless. A master race believes it has rights; a chosen people knows only that it has responsibilities. The key virtues of a master race are pride, honour and fame. The key virtue of a chosen people is humility. A master race produces monumental buildings, triumphal inscriptions and a literature of self-congratulation. Israel, to a degree unique in history, produced a literature of almost uninterrupted self-criticism.” The Israelites, the Jews, like any society, has a significant percentage that surrender to sin… but when Jews become secular and corrupt, they just happen to be very good at it. Just watch Caroline Glick, she, and her guests, are acutely, PAINFULLY, aware of these secular Jews; they are a massive problem for them. I urge people not to focus on the corrupt ones, and wilfully extrapolate from them to Jews more generally.

These guys who were misbehaving in Croydon that Dr Starkey is describing, are a bunch of The Muslim Defence League (MDL)who are well organised in many areas of the country. Interesting that the video of the Police advising the MDL outside a mosque in Bolton to put their weaponry back in the mosque, has been removed.

"The paradox of tolerance states that if a society's practice of tolerance is inclusive of the intolerant, intolerance will ultimately dominate, eliminating the tolerant and the practice of tolerance with them." - Karl Popper

Yes, this idea that 'tolerance is a virtue' never made any sense to me. It's a bizarre implementation of Russell's Paradox: we include everyone, which means we include all those who want to exclude. Naturally, the excluders become to dominant force.

I was lucky in life and took the right turn. I could easily have been out there if I had nothing to lose. Politicians and the establishment have stripped of them of their communities, pride and history. Labour should support them , not fight them.

If I said this about communists I would expect to be arrested for incitement and rightly so. I am a free speech advocate. There are exceptions as layed out in the law. If someone on the right said this I would agree that the full force of the law being thrown against them. Free speech has no politics.

@Noneyabusinessok2 ай бұрын
Can we blame the pubs? Look at islam and they apparently dont drink, gamble take drugs and are a religion of peace, or is that pieces. The 1400 girls who were groomed by them and abused at parties where alcohol and drgs were a plenty. Maybe we true British nature ves need a pub. The rest need monitored and any kids near them need protected.

gosh I remember touring England in the 1980s there was a great deal of social trust, you could wonder into any pub and you'd be playing darts with your new mates in no time, people didn't lock their doors, every church - the door was wide open, people were so friendly they'd invite me over for dinner (tea), they'd give me directions, tell me about local landmarks. that is the Britain I remember and I'm afraid it's gone forever. Yeah you had the odd crime, but no knifings on the streets. None.
