That road rage comment is spot on. I used to get pissed on the road and flipped people right back. Now I just don’t even look or engage and just switch lanes and keep it moving. Not even worth it to put my life in danger and most importantly put my kids life in danger because of a dumb choice. I think he could have just come back and apologized, he did this in 2017 when he was being unfaithful and a sleazebag to his wife. If he said "I apologize that was messed up of me that's not who I am anymore" that would have been it, ideally. It would have minimized most of the damage, but the way he's going about it makes it so much worse. Like the only reason people knew about the infidelity was because on a stream he showed up out of character, no wig, no sunglasses and apologizes for what he did and said he was taking some time off. He could have done that for this situation, especially because we already know how he was in 2017.
