One of my theories as to why the Adamantium claws didn't cut through that vibranium spear is that vibranium spear is energized. The times where I've seen adamantium cut through vibranium, the vibranium isn't energized and i know that adamantium can't cut through force fields. That or maybe Dr.Doom enchanted the Vibranium like he did in Doomwar, although why didn't he use it for himself maybe a flaw in the enchanted vibranium theory.

I mean, adamantium isn't truly indestructible, the fact that it was able to be rendered into a workable state to the point that it can be shaped into tools and even bonded to a human skeleton (well, a mutant skeleton) means that it can be affected by mundane forces like heat and pressure. Vibranium is basically magic blshit that doesn't adhere to any laws of physics and just kind does whatever the author needs it to do, like Hamon from JoJo or any iteration of Superman.

@@Vibranium_manguess it’s like concentrated. The ores are malleable but after super heating, they go through chemical change where once Solid again have a different makeup. Also, Wolverine’s claws can cut basically anything, but there still needs to be Force applied when he cuts. Thor with an adamantium sword can cut a lot more than Wolverine. My head canon is that the staff is high grade vibranium which makes it require more force to cut, then tied with the electricity makes it impossible for Wolverine to cut with his human level strength via stunning him.

I believe logan and marvel has stated in the past that Logan's claws can't actually cut through things if he himself cannot physically "force them" through it. For example if he lazilly lets his claws fall against metal, they'll scratch the metal, but won't shear through it like butter. A rod of pure vibranium logan probably would struggle to cut through. because Vibranium would dissipate the Kinetic energy from logans claws. Although what should have happened is the rod should have sustained some cosmetic damage regardless, as Vibranium isn't that magically invulnerable as to immediately dissipate all kinetic energy on contact. What doom said earlier about the Rod being much purer then most "Vibranium armors and shields" is probably true, even if its a bit of artistic liberty. The rod is probably of much purer vibranium content then say Caps shield or other Armor suits that employ vibranium. Which probably are more impure to allow shape (caps shield, tony's armor(s)) and the ability to move with ones body. (Black panthers suit) Its also magical bullshit, so again. Results may vary.

Doom's probably aware if the Mutants completely lose to Orchis, then he is next, or the Children of the vault will come knocking. Or both. Mutants are a useful buffer to both, but if doom publicly supports Mutants he will be attacked in a hurry. Orchis not attacking doom is because not only will they be attacking humans, but they'll also be attacking doom. And doom's domain isn't that Porous like NYC that they could send in agents to assassinate people in broad daylight. So it would be a full scale war they couldn't afford for multiple fronts.

Rob, the storyline when Cerebro became sentient is without a doubt underrated as hell. Fantastic art, and an interesting story where multiple X-men teams and the Brotherhood had to team up. It's one of the few physical comics I still have from my youth. Would love if you covered it sometime!

Going to Latveria is like going to a saner Apocalypse to visit Darkseid, the citizens aversely salves to denizens will not leave their rulers. Leave it to the mind of Doom to build his own Cerebro just to intercept Cerebro when it reaches out, otherwise Doom won't use something like this until the occasion arises. I do hope Doom's words on Charles come true, that he changes to something interesting, often Charles is passive will to take a loss to salvage common ground even if it takes untold years to achieve. Pushing Charles can be dangerous due to his self-control being what it is a bad day and he is all the way twisted without restraint. Not a bad loss when the meal after is top level dining and you leave after. With who they have on hand I am not surprised the x men lost but they have a senior member; who knows when to fight and discuss terms in Wolverine.

I'm very curious.... I hope Marvel has a decent plan for Xavier. They always seem to have him as a focal point of mistakes and problems despite his intentions. He's typically lambasted for mistakes by characters who have done far worse things in the past, present, and future(Destiny, Doom, Mystique, etc.). If Xavier really is supposed to be a scientist, a scholar, and a capable leader....we should get some progression for his character. Xavier can't just be the source of all problems, mixups, amd plot points(like Nightcrawler's new origin). If they really don't like him as a character, just end him and move on. But don't string us along with him while constanding pointing to him and his actions as problems unsolved. Doom saying to Charles that his plan will fail. Tony aslo pointed that out. The issue I would clearly see, and I hope Xavier did as well, is that they offered no true effective alternative to choose from. They would rather the mutant population make no moves forward in any directions at all. It just feels like Xavier can never leave the mud.

@@RELAXcowboy Doom's version of Cerebro was more meant to override Charles Cerebro and jam it, while allowing communication directly with Charles. Which is explicitly what doom said he was doing. Doom was basically spawn camping Charles Cerebro and waiting for it to broadcast, as Charles isn't powerful enough in fall of X to communicate with the world all at once without the aid of Cerebro. And cerebro is basically a giant physic amplifier. Doom isn't a telepath, and likely never will be. The whole point of the device is basically just a glorified cerebro interceptor when its active, although it'll likely never work again. Xaiver is very powerful, but often times its just a case of "im holding back because pacifism XD" Jean and Emma are different degrees of "im not a pacifist, but i have reservations about using telepathy for total violence unless its called for"

Seems more like an interceptor version of cerebro because he would need Xaviers level of telepathy to do some of these things. So instead of just amplifying he's redirecting Xaviers power's towards his own intentions. I don't if it would make as much sense for him to just have a copy since he's not as telepathically skilled. I love Doom, my favorite character next to Black Panther, but it amazes me that they find a way to shoe-horn him into EVERY storyline regardless of what threat any particular marvel character is going through. Also @Rob, Black Panther has an Empire and they were able to find Vibranium in deep space which is the foundatioj underwhich the Empire was built however, it seems they retconned the “Earth Vibranium being Inert” bit because Wakanda still using it like nothing ever happpened

That said, I really hope marvel stops making Doom better than the people whose toes he's stepping on. He's able to beat Kang with time travel shenanigans, he's able to backtalk Charles Xavier in telepathy. Hell I bet he'll beat Spiderman's spider abilities next

I feel like this with the X-Desk since the opening of the Crackoa-era. Hickman is like that one tall kid in middle school who during a basketball game took the ball and jammed it between the rim and the backboard and walked away mid game.
