One of my favorite rap/hip hop tracks of ALL TIME! The beat is absolutely ridiculous, and Dre and Cube tearing it up!!

For context. The first verse scene is based off the menendez murders that were carried out by the sins who killed their parents in the early 90s that’s why their faces are blurred and the last verses of course were suppose to be the oj Simpson murders

Cube said he's down with Dre like A.C. is down with OJ. When O.J. was running from the cops A.C. was the guy driving the get away car.

Hey...U know that the lead detective that says, "HIT ANYTHING THAT MOVES," is "JAMES FROM GOOD TIMES", as well as the police that went looking for "Bernie Mack," in the movie "PLAYAZ CLUB," Ice Cube's movie other than the "FRIDAY," movies....just wanted u to know, that was John Amos, who passed away recently...like someone else already posted to j...😢😢😢

Ice Cube will always be the quintessential hard rapper, no one can match his cadence, longevity, and ferocity.
@Makaveli13Xroy8 ай бұрын
honestly the amount of energy that dude has on stage at his age is insane, he didnt stand still for a single second, he was running aronud the stage with that iconic yelling voice, cripwalkin all the time, just jumpin around and rappin his ass off, legit one of the best concerts ive been too @@d4mdcykey

To this day I contend there is no beat that goes harder, and darker, and deeper than this track, if you know you know... this vibe and cadence taps into some lizard brain DNA, pure instinct; it may not be acceptable, but it is always there... waiting to blow up.

Nipsey Hussle said, when he played Diddy, the song "Rap Niggaz" off the Victory Lap album. The song was mixed low and Diddy told him to make it louder and chaotic like this song. Nipsey listened to this and had the song remastered. If you listen to it, you can hear the influence.

I got this CD and it was a masterpiece kn hardcore rapping. I never liked the term "Gangster Rap"! That term was created by suits to make money by sensationalizing violence to make money and also was used to target and discriminate against black artist and people! The entire CD is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

When he said that would "snatch Him out the truck hit him with a brick and sart dancing" is a reference to the LA riots after the Rodney king verdict, the rioters snatched Reginald Denny out of his truck, hit him with a brick and did a little dance.

Those were crazy fucking times, I was less than two miles from all that madness, it was like something out of a dystopian movie; hell, the entire 90's were insane, most people forget all the crazy shit going down in that era, it was off the cliff about everyday.

This song is what started the feud between ice cube and the rapper common. Common told him you're not a natural Born killer you're a God. and he said that ice cube was being hypocrite because ice cube knew that black wisdom teaches that the black man is God because ice cube is a Muslim but he was saying otherwise.
