Pleb Sos That scripture refers to people cutting down trees to make idol Gods to worship. That has nothing to do with Christmas trees my friend. Be careful not to use scriptures out of context... There is no harm in celebration of Christmas as long as you don't put presents (excessive spending and decorations) before the "true meaning" the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord a savior. You have a blessed evening.

Baker Man I respect your opinion, but you have to understand the true meaning of the christmas tree, and the idol that comes with it. Jesus wasn't crucified on a christmas tree, it was a cross. Unless you have an undecorated spruce in your house, you (and I don't mean you specifically ) are participating in a celebration of an idol. And of course, the idol that is celebrated world-wide is Santa. God bless

Pleb Sos Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, not the crucifixion...As I previously stated the tree and lights and Santa Claus(I personally don't include Santa Claus in my Christmas celebration) is only an Idol if you put it before God. Choosing to buy a tree and decorate it, isn't the same as idolizing and worshipping it. I agree with Christmas being commercialized and the true meaning of Jesus's birth being put on the back burner by the masses. Hate this ended up so long... If you don't do Christmas trees, this your decision and your right not to do so. But biblically, there are no facts to back this up. Either way God Bless you and keep you.. Merry Christmas
