For long terms users, to say getting off antidepressants is sometimes “not easy” is a huge understatement. It can be utterly disabling. Also, the guidelines you present for duration of tapers is way off for most long term users: at least 4 weeks? You have to be joking! Regarding risk factors for severity of withdrawal: there are more useful predictors outlined in the Maudsley Guidelines on Deprescribing, including duration of Tx, type of antidepressant, and previous W/D history. Otherwise good presentation and thank you for investing yourself in this very important topic.
