I made no decision to follow Christ. I played Church for 5 years inside church buildings. I then stumbled upon a sermon from Paul Washer and was broken to pieces by the conviction of my filthy sin and lifestyle back then. I cried for 8 hours realizing that I had no one to turn to and I then cried out to God asking Him to take my pain from me. I fell asleep and awoke at 3:00 a.m. and I felt brand new!!! I had been born again! "Nobody comes to Christ unless the Father draw him." "Ye must be born again!" We have traded regeneration for decisionism and the we spend years trying disciple a goat into sheep. The problem is we have strayed from so far from the gospels which are ALL STORIES OF REGENERATION AND TRUE CONVERSION. REGENERATION PRECEDES TRUE FAITH AND OBEDIENCE. "IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST HE IS A NEW CREATURE, BEHOLD THE OLD THINGS PASS AWAY AND ALL THINGS BECOME NEW!"

how cause his word say a good tre brings forth good fruit and a bad tre bring for bad fruit
@Greggodomo13 жыл бұрын
I think that may apply to our own actions being the fruit, not our kids...maybe.
@onlyonefaith63563 жыл бұрын
@@Greggodomo1 it's a generational thing , but it applied both ways, some time your the tree, bring forth bad/good fruit , and sometimes when you're referring to your parents, you known as the fruit, in both cases the kid is alway the fruit and the parent is the tree?

Some people should fast a pray for three days; by themselves if possible; don't eat anything; just drink pure water; go for 4 days if possible; drink lots of water, drink some chicken broth (strained from the store) if needed. If you can't sit still and listen to these videos for the duration; and especially the one ---Learn the 2 Key Ingredients for Successful Relationships (Saddleback Church); if one of the best on the subject. Children need to get to the end of their rope sometimes before the Lord brings them back and if you love them you will fast; Dont tell God what to do, ever; you are the one who messed up with discipline; not your children. Some of the most godly parents say the least, but their lives and their actions SPEAK VOLUMES (their love and firmness is so evident). Ephesians 6 entire chapter.

Harland, how do you determine who should "fast a pray for three days"? Consider that Jesus did say do not judge but to love. Jesus never said to fast and pray for three days nor did he give instructions to just drink water or what type of fast. These are your own words. Unless you have a relationship with those you are instructing, don't lead sheep you are not a shepherd for. What Jesus said was that his disciples would not fast while the bridegroom was with them. Is not Jesus with us? But before you judge me again, I do fast and have done so recently. I did it out of response to my own relationship with God. The obedience or method in which you have experienced God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit is not a system for all to follow. God is a friend to all and has unique relationships with each. He may not instruct another do fast right now or maybe ever as you are laying out to everyone. Or the fast may be quite different than the one you post, or post elsewhere. If I were to admonish others it would be to sit before God and speak your heart then wait for God to respond. Then do what you know in your heart what God said. This will change your life. Not fasting because some guy on youtube told you to.

Men do deserve respect unless they are not being loving and it's all about them

how do you respect a man who is putting you into harm's way and even when you are respectful, takes advantage of it and steals a mile when you compromised to give him an inch? When you are respectful he is still not loving or motivated to care about or love you? Still do it?

Wives are commanded to reverence our husbands as unto the Lord. Unless he is asking us to sin, we are commanded to submit ourselves and obey. In doing so we are obeying the Lord.
@dreams-ru1ef3 жыл бұрын
@@mslibertyh it’s been like that for a long time. Where has submitting to your husband gotten women? Oh right, you need to follow him wherever he goes, do whatever he asks, even if you don’t want to. How absurd is that lol? And when you don’t, your sinning!

@@ruggedlifejewelry if a man is putting you into harms way then yeah, get away from him or do something about it. Doesn’t matter what people say, they’re gonna look down on you. It’s how it is with women. Men want to be in control, it’s stupid.

@@sherickamccoy3777 Shericka, Thank you for offering encouragement rather than passing judgement as Harland did without knowing me or the truth. The video's title is just the presenter's name with the title of a book he wrote. The video does not have much to do with the video's title. I have the book. Personally the book is not half as good as any of Dr Gottman's books. I will say that the book does match the title of the book. The book does provides a good premise. I expected it do more to explore the depths of showing love and respect. There is only so much a book and do, unless it's The Book
