Why doesn't Jesse ever push back when guest he likes says there is racism? Why not challenge them and tell them there is no such thing like he does many others. It seems he picks and chooses when to challenge folks on this. He should challenge them all on it. Right around 16 mins or so in this episode, Jesse should have challenged this guy on so called "racism".

If we assume that the phrase "nice guys finish last" is completely opposite. The evolutionarily created morals developed over time because doing the right thing and being good created better outcomes. Both these men have strong principles. They talk alot and it becomes easy to live their high moral ground. If you don't keep the faith fresh in your mind it then becomes quite possible that you may need to re-educate yourself by doing the wrong thing and suffering the consequences. The temptation is always there. Jesse has an amazingly strong intellectual connection with God while GadSaad Has a tremendous verbal skill set and the opportunity to use it for good.

I love Dr. Saad as a person, but like most people in his tribe, he's completely unwilling to admit there is any legitimate reason to distrust or criticize the typical behaviors of members of his tribe. He also perpetuates the narrative that their success has absolutely NOTHING to do with ethnocentrism or nepotism and everything to do with high IQ and work ethic. Please. He's doing his people a disservice by perpetuating these narratives. There are very legitimate reasons that so many people are distrustful and critical of his tribe, and until people like Dr. Saad begin admitting that, nothing will ever change. Dr. Saad should stop denying that and instead call those people out for their subversive and grotesque behaviors that give his entire group a bad reputation.

40:40 .. There are 3 types of Ethical SYSTEMS !!!.. 1 ) Kantian - Deontological Ethics (abstract rule ethics/maxim - means/end principle i.e. one should treat others never as a means merely, but as an end always ) - focus is on one particular act irrespective of person and 2) John Steward Mill - Consequentialist Ethics (different abstract rule ethics/maxim - best consequences principle i.e. The greatest good/happiness for the greatest number) - focus is on one particular act irrespective of person and 3) Aristotelian - Virtue Ethics (aka Nicomachean ethics - Virtuous Person /Virtuous Character Maxim) - focus is on many diverse acts and one particular type of person i.e. the person of Character, that is, you may speculate in abstract what to do but in the end you observe, look up to a virtuous person for guidance, the good action is what would concrete virtuous person do.... ethic of imitation... Therefore in Virtue Ethics there is more than one good particular action possible, because even if different virtuous persons may act differently their virtuous acts will still maintain their character... Who am I becoming by doing this, by acting this way is important for Aristotle... brave or coward?.. Aristotelian Ethics was classical European ethics that preceded both: Kant and Mill... and it is making come back today... Kant developed his ethical theory in response to Aristotle and John Mill developed his ethics in response to Kant...

Jesse basic Christian message about not to hate anyone is so important. Most people don’t see their own big spiritual limitations and the lack of logic in their own speeches. Gad said that if you attack him, he’ll go after you and after your descendants and so on, which is the same mentality why he had to go out of his origins country when others were after him and his family for disagreeing with them. As Jesse often says, you become what you hate. Even if the comparison is not on proportion, it’s important to understand the actual basics of any philosophy we practice.

My dad has a very relatable story. He had to escape Iran during the revolution and leave everything behind or he would be killed.

How can he say that he was persecuted in Lebanon for his "religion", yet when asked if he's a religious Jew, then all of a sudden being "Jewish" has nothing to do with practicing the religion, and he describes it as a race. They always obfuscate that question to suit their needs. It's one or the other, and truth be told, it's obviously more of a race or ethnicity than it is a religion, otherwise he would not identify with it. Ridiculous. Once again he's being dishonest.
