When they say that it were the "Anglo-Saxons" who were behind the murder they mean the British-American Empire, not just Brits. When they mean British they simply say "British". The reality is that the British empire did not fall apart and did not disappear, it just moved to the new center of political, financial and industrial power sometime in 1930 - 1940 s. Obviously they are very much aware of this in Russia, more than people in US or UK!
@JamesRyan-ql9lr4 сағат бұрын
😂😂😂😂 no they're not... Anglo Saxons are Brits and Brits only
@luc001444 сағат бұрын
Absolutely correct. After the OSS dissolved post WW2, the UK and US had a 'joint marriage'. Sort of like a pre-NATO. Churchill and some in the US had the brilliant thought upon German surrender in WW2 of invading Russia, weakened by the loss of 27 million troops. The thought was the timing was perfect, early May, and that they'd be able to capture Moscow within 6 months before the protective Russian winters freeze the troops
@luc001444 сағат бұрын
@JamesRyan-ql9lr Anglo Saxons are German, Dutch, Danish tribal settlers in England after the fall of the Roman empire. The US, Canada, NZ, Australia are majority Descendents of Britain, seeing as they are/were colonies. I wish the judge had let Doctorow complete his description of Putin's assessment of the effect that Syria's fall will have on Russia. He cut him off with a question about Putin having to talk to a terrorist.
@_Igor_Popkov3 сағат бұрын
No way. Putin has long said that Russia is not going to be more Syria than the Syrians themselves. Putin also did not swear allegiance to Assad. And if the Syrians themselves decided to become Turks and Israelis, Russia will be fine with that. Russia sent aid to Syria, among other things, to prevent Syria from turning into a bandit enclave, from which bandits of all kinds would crawl all over the world. This was achieved. The rest is in the hands of the Syrians themselves - it is their land and they will decide how they will live on it. Some in the West are worried about the Russian bases and their fate. Here we can reassure: 1. Russia does not really need these bases. Russia does not steal other people's resources, so it does not need a military presence around the world. 2. Russia has long since withdrawn many of its forces. There used to be special operations forces there - they are no longer there. 3. If desired, Russia can get a base in many countries in the region - its choice. 4. At the moment, the Russians are talking to everyone - and most are asking to preserve the Russian bases.

@@greendragonspirit1646 Well, in fact, there are about 20% English in the US. A third are Germans; this is the largest and most oppressed nation in the US: they were so pressured in the 19th and 20th centuries that they changed their last names to sound English, forgot their ancestors (they tell everyone that they sailed on the Mayflower) and no one is going to apologize to them. And there was a time when the German language almost became the second state language - they were one vote short. It was after this that the English began to suppress the Germans. Not knowing the state of morale of one's allies forces is inexcusable for a state actor. Neither the Russians had signaled that any agreement on political reform in Syria is unachievable nor did the Syrian president saw fit to inform the citizenry. If it is not a ruse as with the preceding yield of Syrian territory to Turkish forces before then it is by all means a strategic defeat in a major theater of operation - not a 'setback' or a 'redeployment of resources to the more vital theater due Arab incompetence'. Without Syria, Hezbollah will be unable to withstand an Israeli siege, without Hezbollah, Iran will be vulnerable to direct attack by Israel - destabilizing not just the Levante and Mesopotamia, but the Middle East. One doesn't build a One Belt, One Road through civil war torn territory, so China will be effectively cut off from Persian oil, triggering economic recession and civil unrest - the specter of another Chinese civil war with Taiwan still not re-united... Without China, Kazakhstan and Russia's South is vulnerable to another orchestrated uprising in Chechnya - all these conflicts are directly related and all are theaters of CIA operations. Unless Israelis stopped by any means, a nuclear exchange is inevitable in a major war, even by sheer accident under constant high alert. The person who was a$$a$$1n1ated by the Ukrainian SBU - that is the CIA - was in charge of the investigation of US violations of the Biological Weapons Convention. If US STRATCOM was not thinking about US nukes in 2021 'Proceedings', a synthetic 'gain-of-function' pathogen of the Spanish Flu may already be planted on Russian territory. That is the state of affairs - if Sino-Russian planing isn't several steps ahead of US intentions of a preemptive strike...
