@SeventiesLeo I heard Winter say she was in a hostile environment and the producer said for the men to get her. Queen Shiba did nothing but let her speak about her experience with the cast. If that makes Carlos look bad, he may want to change some things. Carlos shows are very toxic and he really does need to be exposed for allowing women to be treated this way. Thank you Queen Shiba for allowing Winter to tell what she went through.

The problem for me is that if you brag that your money is "long" you need to pay your casts like it is. Winter got a raw deal, but I feel like there is a theme with CK specifically showing bits and pieces of a story to create a villain narrative for a certain kind of woman.

She has tried to move on, but everyone else keeps bringing it up. The entire cast is obsessed with the fact she left her husband with 4 kids and didn't crumble. I could share more, but unless you watch the show and keep up with the "social drama", you wouldn't get it anyway.

It is sad because in all honesty DC is the best show with real topics that he or any other network has. The Jaime story as a father raising a grown son, and a son with disability along with retiring as a cop was deep! Winter was a friend of the show season one, season 2 she really didn't have much to offer and to me was still a friend. She claims to have all of this business education but signed the contract. She shouldn't have brought Monique into the conversation about the money, that wasn't cool.

It would have been an awful idea for Carlos to respond to Heavenly by extending an offer to Winter to discuss the contract stuff at his event. I agree, the salary is not unique to LAMDC. Heavenly caught him off guard. Money aside, Carlos suffers from the same problem as Andy and Shaunie - they want to be the boss and a star. He needs to take a page out of Mona’s book and step away from hosting all reunions and after shows. IDC how much he says he’s “friends with all the girls”. They are still employees and there needs to be boundaries. Part 1 of the reunion was so cringy. Legally speaking, he’s skating on thin ice with some of his questions/statements to the couples. Hopefully he’ll find a way to fix the problems with the cast as everyone deserves to be respected and compensated fairly

I don’t see why it’s surprising. Even Jersey Shore only got 500 an episode for the first couple seasons. I believe it’s because the network wants to see they will potentially get a return on their investment. The ratings on this show is not that good and they haven’t been on that long. People commenting on Winter "complaining" about the pay, but that wasn't the issue OR the topic of the interview. The pay topic was about 5 minutes of a 90-minute interview. Everyone should go watch it instead of criticizing Winter. She, like Melody, was complaining about how the men on the show are allowed to attack women with no repercussions. She stated Carlos and several of the producers witnessed her being mistreated and never said anything. The pay topic only came up because she said the amount they were getting paid wasn't worth the trauma she had to go through on the show. That was what the interview was about.
