Bless you amazing James Hollis, from Belgium. It keeps surprising me how little the nice people of USA know from us & my neighbour countries (i think it's what you can see- not see on TV etc), it seems not existing in your history - knowledge how similiar it is in our regions just like with you, it's a worry, i really hope we can all come closer 'here' to find truths & sharing lives, sir Hollis is a true gem♥Grattitude♥

Thank you Dr. James Hollis. Joe Irwin introduced me to your books 12 years ago when he found them so insightful and they have been very impactful in my life as well. I truly appreciated listening to your conversation with Patricia. Your wisdom is all-ways enlightening!

I think regarding the lack of joy - this is due to a sense of no safety for the most vulnerable parts of the psyche. This is from long term(complex) trauma.

Dear Dr. Hollis, I have hesitated for a long time (I'm 63 and have been in and out of hospitals since childhood. For a year now without medicine. My perscribers can't hardly believe their eyes. I started on the Jungian journey 20+ years ago. Mostly on my own. Even managed grad school. And a symbolic life? Myth? It's second nature. Or is that first?

Just as a follow-up. An entirely new set of categories are being imposed. Change? Adapt? It's all I've done and I see "societies shadow" as imposing its will. Yes. We've gone nuts

Hello everybody. We can't and don't blame others for our mistakes sounds good for everybody. Them we'll never have to be blame for other peoples mistakes like enclaves and Indian issues only and becouse we where not there at the time.

I rarely remember the dreams i have even i dont know if i dream at all is that a problem?
@Liisa3139 Жыл бұрын
For a long time I was wondering about why I have almost no dreams. Then I learned I have aphantasia. Could it be that you have it too? It is not a syndrome of anything, but just an inborn quality that aprox 2-3% of people have. You may want to look it up.

I agree…he tends not to question authority and the new policies of change. These, many of them should be resisted vociferously. But this wonderful man has been in hospital alot and tends to put his trust in the medical establishment. Granted no one can know everything but when he veers into history and such he kind of loses me. His own experience is fine to describe but leave it at that.

"Life is a journey" and even worse "life is a journey of transformation" .... what tedium!
