I quit getting mammograms after a doctor had me come in 3 different times for additional pictures and biopsies. He wanted me to make a 4th appt so he could biopsy some small area that he was 99.99% sure was not cancer. I said no, no more imaging, no more biopsies. I'm not getting another mammogram ever.

Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer changed my life for the better after the initial shock. I changed EVERYTHING in body, mind, and spirit! I was a nervous wreck and living in constant stress for years before my diagnosis and I think that’s what triggered my cancer. I’ve been cancer free since 2020…no chemo no radiation. I completely changed my lifestyle for the better including incorporating meditation. I make good sleep a priority and meditation helps a lot as a precursor to that. Upon diagnosis I did agree to take verzenio oral treatment and faslodex injections once a month. When insurance got dropped I dropped both of those and went on Letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor…the joint and bone pain was horrendous and had gotten so bad that I dropped that too. Cancer can be a catalyst to discover what needs to change in your life if you take a good hard honest look at yourself. For me it was stress! I’ve learned to slow down and smell the Roses. I appreciate where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’m going now. Gratitude is huge for healing.

I agree, I think stress because it's so common these days, is underrated but plays such a huge role. What did you do after you made the changes to check your progress and verify that you had healed your body?

Did you change other things as well as your stress level? Did you change your diet? Did you follow someone like Chris ? A woman called Evita Rampart wrote a book called the Bliss of cancer, following along the lines of what you’re saying that it was a blessing in disguise. She’s a pretty interesting person. I will put a video here if I can it’s only eight minutes of what she did for Stress and diet and detoxing her body on a very deep cellular level but the book is good if you haven’t read it

Hormone blockers are systemic treatment and I suspect why you are suffering is that if you have been put into instantaneous menopause. If I am correct you need to take action to protect your heart and bone health. Anti-inflammatory diet, calcium and vitamin D .Watch your added sugars if you are eating processed food. Check to see if your fasting blood sugar and fasting insulin levels are at healthy levels.

I hear you. I found a simple cyst in my breast but wanted to be sure it was just a cyst. Holistic Dr. ordered an ultrasound. The people at the facility tried to force me into a mammogram. I explained that the mammogram is used for detection of lumps and the ultra sound was the second step to distinguish what type of lump exists. I already found a lump! They tried to bully me into doing both. I lied and promised I would let them do a mammogram right after if the lump came back as atypical. It was a simple cyst and I will never get a mammogram after that weird incident.

This is awesome. I am an RN of 20 years and in my 2nd semester of SAFM. Was fighting with my primary about 2 years ago asking about hormones and I HAD to get a mammogram before she would discuss it. Only to find out a year later when the pandemic calmed down and I was in extreme pain that she knew nothing about hormones despite being around my age. My HMO is constantly hounding me with emails, mail and calls telling me my Dr ordered a mammogram and they want to help me schedule it. They have stopped doing breast exams. WTH?

This is an excellent and beneficial interview. I requested a digital ultrasound from my doctor as opposed to a mammogram, and was will willing to pay it myself because I figured insurance would not pay. The hospital network would not allow me to get a digital ultrasound without a mammogram, even with self pay. I found a clinic 2 hours away that was willing to give a digital ultrasound with self pay with a doctor's recommendation. Thankfully, my doctor was willing to do that. Our health care system does not support patients like me who follow a whole food plant based diet, and lifestyle.

41:00 a very important question I think I can answer to from my own experience. I was a vegan for 7 - 9 months after 6 years on keto/low carb and even pure carnivore journey that destroyed my health in many ways I won't discuss in this comment. It took me many months to be able to digest plants back again but once I could do that I couldn't get enough. I've always been skinny so weight issues were never my issues and I ate A LOT. Before I always had issues with gluten so I avoided it during those 6 years of low carbing. When I went vegan I ate lots of everything including grains. At first I felt great but after a few months I lost my period so I though it was menopause (I was 47) and I just didn't think about it again. What I didn't like was that my skin became extremely dry especially skin on my elbows and feet. I was also getting weaker and weaker. My doctor sent me for blood tests and it turned out that I had close to zero ferritin and iron levels even though I diligently ate plenty of greens and a WIDE variety of plants every day. My TSH went up from 1.9 to 2.6 in next to no time (and I'd always had perfect TSH levels and thyroid usg results before), however the only marker that improved was my cholesterol which got much better. After a few months on the diet I also couldn't find the relief for my flatulence, this soon turned into severe form of IBS, so much so that I was afraid to eat and to leave home. I was extremely anemic and tired. I started eating meat eggs dairy again but changed wheat for rye. It helped only slightly with blood work, but I was stilll in pain. I stopped eating gluten after my usual migraines have increased in number and all my GI tract issues were gone. Now I'm pretty sure it's gluten that caused all the malabsorption and not the vegan diet itself although I had to swear to my doc that I would eat meat on a daily basis. I'm thinking of going clean vegan again but this time with no grains and deifinitely no gluten grains in it. I had colonoscopy TWICE which didn't confirm celiac disease but whenever I start eating gluten I turn into a very sick zombie so vegan diet YES, gluten in the diet - NO.

This is a fantastic interview that touches on so many great basic health concepts. Both Chris work and Dr. Simmons have a wonderful dialogue and touch on so many important, key points in this one interview. I disagree with the fact that some people don’t really want to heal, as Dr. Simmons asserts at one point. I think everybody wants to heal. They just need to be lead in the right direction. Our medical system doesn’t offer good information on real healing methods, and so all of us were initially brainwashed until we did our own research, and found a new path towards real Health. Our job as doctors, practitioners and coaches is to try and educate, inform, coach, and show real data of what’s working and what’s not working.

This is the first doctor that advocates more whole food / plant strong diet I have heard mention insulin levels contributing to cancer -I feel this is the biggest factor of all contributing to cancer. Thank you Dr. Jenn. Chris, you are brillant in all you do, but you should perhaps study and concentrate on the insulin factor far more. Hugh insulin makes cancer cells grow. Loss 2 family members who were diabetic and had cancer that was supposedly "cured" for a couple of years - bit diabetes kept getting worst - given more and more insulin as the "cure" and both had cancer come raging back as stage 4cand gone within 2 years. Had no idea of the connection but Imam sure, having done a lot of recent research - it was the insulin that was the contributing factor to the cancer growth. Chris, please start bringing this in your talks as a HUGE CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO CANCER!!

So thankful I went in for my mammogram! I was going to skip a year. It detected something strange and after a biopsy I ended up having Invasive lobular cancer for which I’m having a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruct for this June. I know too many people who have carefully exercised, done the social diets etc and died from their breast cancer because it spread throughout their organs. Every woman should get a 3 D Mammogram every year!

Well this show is not for you its for people who feel different and not for someone to instill more fear when it's already their not being rude but it's the truth fear can make you more sick and traditional treatment doesn't cure cancer it only shrinks the tumor your healthy cells by Gods grace has to do its work by staying healthy as possible.

Dr. Jenn, What are your thoughts about Thermography? Sandi B
@DianneElizabeth64
@DianneElizabeth64 17 күн бұрын
Thermography caught a few things including a mass in my breast. Also, caught my root canal leaking bacteria in to my left lymphatic system. Tech said I have to get that out & that she studied every breast cancer later she had and all of them had tooth issues showing on thermography . I did. Holistic dentist said I was full of infection. Scraped it off my jaw.

I had Graves’ disease I did everything I possibly could, it did not heal sadly. I had to have my thyroid removed 2 years after being diagnosed. some ppl are lucky, but I was not so this is a bit misleading. Many people have spontaneous remission from Graves so what happened to her is actually pretty common. And the people I know who had spontaneous remission did not change their diet. While I 100 percent believe that food heals, it didn’t not work for my Graves’ disease. Although I do believe it works for other illness and for some ppl with Graves, not for all though. I am not by any means discouraging to try to heal the thyroid I am 1000 percent against thyroidectomy. But sometimes diet and all the other “right” things isn’t enough.

@@aegee613 hi I’m so sorry that your dealing with this. I did so many things. It’s hard to know where to start, but there’s a woman that I know who went into remission with Graves’ disease and I’ll post what she did here but I think underlying triggers for Graves, or auto immune are toxins, and infections for example SIBO. The first thing that I did was I cleaned up my diet only organic and stopped eating, gluten, dairy, corn, sugar, soy. I tried to treat my gut, but was unsuccessful. I did a raw vegan protocol created by Dr. Brooke Goldner called goodbye, lupus. I do believe her protocol works, but you have to have a really strong digestive system for her protocol because of all the chia, seeds and vegetables.

@@aegee613 this is from a woman who went in remission with Graves and what she did, the other two people that I know of personally, that went into remission with graves they did not eat meat, but this woman did eat meat: it wasnt luck... it was hard work.. i did Whole 30... to find what foods were adding to inflammation levels.. i cutout gluten and other foods i found my body wasnt processing well.. some legumes, some nightshades, grains.. I healed the gut with diet... grain and sugar free... home made bone broths... then collagen powder... to close loose junctions in gut. &0% of our immunity resides in the gut. Veganism isnt so good with graves.. carnivore diet much more effective... high in carnitine.. antagonist for graves. I took bugleweed, motherwort, lemonbalm.. with turmeric/bioperine, Vit D protocol, omega 3 oils and selenium.. also took L carnitine at times... i took quercetin with TED too. Practiced hatha yoga daily and attended classes.. that was a huge helper.. chanting, meditation, breathing exercises, asanas.. calm.. and quiet. I reduced all stimulants and stimulation. Calmed right down.. i was zen... it wasnt easy. I struggled at times. I walked miles daily.. and started swimming.. all helped. It is a healing journey of sorts... and we are not just physical beings.. we are mind body and spirit... treat all aspects.. review your work life balance... Lemon balm blocks TRabs from receptors.. only a mild reducing effect... it also gives a lovely calm. Motherwort tincture is also a great natural beta blocker... without side effects. Both worked very well for me... with bugleweed, turmeric, vit D protocol.. selenium and omega 3 oils... i got full TRab remission at 13 months.. gluten free also.... TRabs blood test usually takes a couple of weeks, longer than normal thyroid bloods. Get on the lemon balm tea and tincture .. it blocks TRabs from latching on to the gland to cause over production... it also gives a lovely calm. Lemon balm can also help with gut dysbiosis due to graves... fast transition via gut. Lemon balm is great with anxiety and heart palps ... all from studies. Vit D protocol helps too.. replacing that calcium that high levels can leach out. Omega 3 oils and selenium too. Medication works well for most.. TRab remission is possible... it just takes time.

I did energy healing. I worked on my emotions. I tried to heal my gut, but was unsuccessful. One thing I just did recently which I’ve had great results from is something called Klinghardt ART I highly recommend this, because it targets the immune response to, infections, toxins, and foods that your body is reacting to. My gut is so much calmer from this treatment.

An hour is too long for me. I know this much while it's natural to want to avoid radiation the people who actually understand the amount involved say you would be exposed to that also on a long airplane flight so try to keep things in perspective. Are almost all the pilots and flight attendants dying young from cancer? No, they aren't.

Exactly, you're fine when you take it in the morning or during daytime, I just had to scale back from 180mg/day cause it gave me too much digestive trouble! In the US I got mine as a powder from purebulk. I took 300mg before and 200mg after two CT scans on top of fasting. Look up Schallenberger's talk about melatonin, you can't overdose on that! 🙂
