I'm a 65 yr old self-employed artist who's had some serious struggles, injuries, hard core shit happen.. Dr Joe's posts have been life changing even after years of coda meetings, counseling, emdr, and everything else, he's taking me to the place I've longed for, and helping me release the baggage. I look forward to budgeting in one of his seminars. I can't thank you enough. The new journey begins.. namaste.

I’m loving Dr. Joe’s morning meditations and I think this is the best so far. Is there somewhere I can go to learn better what he means to visualize body sections “in space”. Thank you 🙏🏻
@juanitaibarra5390 Жыл бұрын
I believe "in space" means outer space so we have to imagine ourselves far from our reality. It's a way to disconnect from our immediate surroundings. I imagine my self floating in outer space with the stars and galaxies.

I am sorry to disagree, but any breathing exercise involving using the spinal column “energy points” or chakras as this does, is optimised by your sitting up with a straight spine, including your neck. Upright, yet relaxed. Even if you were paralysed, you would do this type of meditation strapped upright in your wheelchair rather than lying down. There are other meditations you could lie down for though. 👍

what am i drawing up and how do you do that? what does he mean by that? i always have to skip dispenzas meditations bc i have no idea what he means by that. theyre all the same so theres not one i can actually do properly. a little guidance for beginners will be greatly appreciated. maybe then i will be able to finally complete one of his. thx

@@happylivingmotivation thank you for your reply and the suggestion. but that is NOT a dispenza meditation, so it isnt what i asked. the problem isnt mediatating. i can meditate just fine. the problem is dispenzas meditations specifically. i was referring to those

I think,you Can start by finding thé short ones that work for you,then swich to other ones after à while...have you tried : u love u? Or something like a very short morning meditation. After a while,it gets easy spécialy if you know why he does his méditations that way...hé explains and then, there's Also : Surender.....

Here’s an explanation from Dr Joe. This is a repetitive edit, but explains the drawing in, holding and gentle pumping. What is left out is the relaxing exhale, which is just that-let all the air out. That exhale automatically compresses the sacrum and spine which helps to push the spinal fluid up to the brain. This is what you want. There a few videos out there. But it can be hard to find the right explanations. Hang on and I’ll post another. Best wishes! kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6bXfq1_a9abhs0

He is encouraging you to switch from convergent to divergent focus, something which is also practised in some yoga breathing and meditation exercises. I encourage to to read his books and KZbin interviews. ❤
