What a great team by then,I wish it extended until date as a wholesome. May those who lost their lives rest in peace. The great vision of this great unity has been lost, and we are seeing a doomed future for now.

The saddest and the most painful part is the seeming death of New Sudan Vision, the one and only valid vision for all of us! If only we could go back to square one and be as united, long envisioned by Dr. Garang himself!

It was such a tragic loss. He was a man of unity no doubt, but his historical and statistical premises were inaccurate. Nation-building requires common ground (majority/minority dichotomy), and he saw that in ethnicity not religion. Historically and contemporarily, religion has always been the common ingredient of nation building. Why is that? Because no nation existed without connecting its physical existence to its metaphysical beginning and end. This is a psychological phenomenon of consistency, and even secularism couldn’t contradict it. All secular countries still emphasise their Christian character or otherwise as the foundation of their nation-states. Ethnicities and gender majorities cannot and do not constitute the metaphysical necessity required for nation-building. Even the late JG couldn’t apply his philosophy to the Jewish state (as the law of consistency necessitates) not even once he mentioned it. Why do you think was that? So, what was the more realistic approach for peace? His vision of United Sudan could’ve only worked on the same model of the United States. No state can exist without the hegemony of the religion of the majority & its values. But all can live peacefully under the condition of hegemony of one religion as in the United States and all other countries of the world. Trying to reverse this universal fact is an utopian vision unfortunately and this is why we ended up where we are now. I would have loved to have met him, he was indeed a very charismatic, warm and visionary man who was very keen on unity as we heard from this mesmerising lecture.

Notice that he added in the speech let forget the past which past things in 1991 to forget them and begin the liberation again, that why we forget the past things with him hang like that That is how Kiir come Thank you ❤❤
