Was reading Micah in conjunction with Isaiah recently. It really adds some depth and breadth to the study. For instance, one of the key sins of Judah was that:- “Their land is full of horses; there is no end to their chariots.” (Isaiah 2:7b) “ You who live in Lachish, harness fast horses to the chariot. You are where the sin of Daughter Zion began, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.” (Micah 1:13) Seems like Micah has provided the a possible hint to why Lachish was the last of the 46 fortified cities to be fallen, while God spared Jerusalem in BC 701. Praise God! Shalom!
