One does not have to know what a song says to enjoy it. All that is needed is the rhythm and intuition. This music is truly one of the best.

The people of ABA ENYIMBA CITY demanded that he comes to Aba and he answer the call. He was old as of 1979 during the visit, The foundation of Aba stadium nearly uprooted because of his fans across the city. RIP Dr.

K. Gyasi had unique flair for assembling talented musicians, hence his band always played at the highest level. I heard about his group in 1962 when my elder brothers discussed Akwaboah and OPK's performance on one Sunday when they had attended the K. Gyasi concert, which the locals termed dance, the previous night at the Krofrom Atomic Bar. That group was affectionately called "Masters" the pride of Kumasi, the "Garden City of West Africa" by the youth of the time.

Whenever l hear this evergreen song by the inimitable great Dr Gyasi, l fight back the tears swelling from inside my eye wells. So many good memories. 16 minutes of delicious African jazz highlife never went by so fast. Over sixty now, first heard it as a boy in the sixties, and it smashed my soul. Disciplined ensemble. Fine horn section. The heart shaking expertly timed rolls by the drummer, exquisite lead and rhythm by the guitarist is chimed off in this delicious pot of African sound by Gyasi' timelessly sweet sonorous voice. That's Africa home of the best rhythm ever flung onto the universe.
