I have short and long term memory problems due to having seizures every month for two years. I forgot an entire year and a half of my life. I have almost no memories from that time. I wish I could have them back.

My memory is so bad it's weird because I can remember things that happened years ago have great long-term memory but my short-term sucks if I don't write a note to myself I'll be like what was I supposed to do? I don't take offense to it even my husband and my friends have been like wow your memory is so bad.

I had a seizure earlier today and I've been able to piece together most of the experience since then. I have observed that my mind is moving a good bit slower than usual, which I find concerning I hope it improves by tomorrow.

I have seizures and I have to take meds for them. I also have short term memory loss because of the seizures.

Yes try blueberrys in your oatmeal in the morning. Look into how meditation leaves your brain a lil more neuroplastic than before. You kind of have to retrain it.

Mrs Dr Miler Ur Right its affecting Memory , But Medical System changes always , One Day have 23 time Epi Happend in my Life , its Started 2016 , around 64 Epi I had , in 2017 its going dowen ,23 , knw its end of 2018 there is no Epi !!! wid good Dr and Gut Medication its Quire , my Self I have had knw Epi Come out , So I have One Spl Spray i put my self in my Nouse , and take Rest ,

My ex roommate had a seizure back in 2001 and lost his memory. He had to relearn everything except how to walk. So if a seizure can erase your memory, are we souls living in bodies?

I would be interested to know how you came to that question? I am both Epileptic and a Christian.

@@conorkelly666 well he told me that his personality and some skills survived. He just became goofier. But some things happen like Alzheimer’s disease or brain damage to make intelligent people doubt that we are souls.

Can your memory get better. My daughter had a siezer and was in a medical induced comma. I feel she might have been mis managed. She has had siezers before but never like this. They kept her in medical coma 4 days. Can you responses please

@@heatherwanamaker8000 the worst thing about a seizure are the injuries and loss of memory but then when you come to where ever you are I get so sick and weak I feel like I was drinking in a centrifugal machine prior to coming to its the worst feeling ever. I have a huge black eye right now and I have no recollection I just see the blood everywhere outside. This was from a bad reaction to stopping a medicine 💊 for 3 days called fiornial w codeine. I've never had a grand mal from anything but lack of medication like benzos which I take daily. I told myself this wouldn't happen ever again and here I am look like someone beat the hell out of me

When I have seizures I can remember it’s just I won’t really remember what I did that week what I ate that week and it takes an hour before I get my memory back my name how old I am common things , when I get up from a seizure I don’t know the day barely the month and sometimes I get my years mixed up who the president is those are questions the hospital and ambulance ask last time I said Obama and we’re in 2022 so yeah it’s scary
