On "mea culpa" I don't think mea culpa is something one should do because people asked him/her to do it. I know we recognize the importance of it. But if we keep asking or pushing for it, it will lose its essence. Parang yung salitang "sorry." Hindi dapat sinasabi ng isang tao yun dahil napilitan siya o nasabihan na mag-sorry siya. Dapat sinasabi niya yun dahil alam niya at tanggap niya na nagkamali siya. Sinasabi niya yun dahil mahalaga sa kanya yung taong apektado ng kamalian niya at marunong siya magpakumbaba. Walang sense yung sorry na resulta lang ng pressure ng ibang tao. Is it reasonable to push for mea culpa when it's something that should be given freely and 100% sincerely?
