Madame Alexander and sports memorabilia; Dr Lori knows freakin’ everything! I collect Madame Alexander dolls, too. I have some of her adorable 1960-1970s babies, and they’re gorgeous! I think, on one of the online calls, I’m going to try and ask Dr Lori about my 1950s hard plastic Karen Ballerina and Nina Ballerina. I take really good care of them. My mom taught me that there are some dolls, my ballerinas and Madame Alex “kins,” that were “inside dolls.” I’d display the babies on my bed after making it. I started collecting the Dionne Quints, but it became cost prohibitive. The complete set, as Lori knows, (because she knows everything, I swear, lol,) includes the MD, whose name is Dr DaFoe, and a nurse: all made of composition. I’ve seen the complete set, in the original box, with accessories, sell for $1,800.°°. My subjective observation is that doll collectors are some of the nicest people I know. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thank you, Dr Lori and Bobby Bones. And Madame Alexander, for helping countless children bring their dreams to life.
