I heard a story from his obituary that he wrote this song during a visit to Russia. He lived in a building situated in the outskirts of Moscow, and loneliness made him bored. That building was at the end of a vast field, and for fresh air, he opened the window towards the field, and air came. At that time, he remembered Lord Hanuman, the son of Lord Vayu, and composed this song. That was his greatness. May his soul rest in peace.

Others sing traditional sarasangi almost the same as charukesi(ni alone differs).By focussing more on Ma , Dha and Ni -Sir has redefined Sarasangi and given a unique identity for this melakartha ragam. If we try singing the ragan with Ma, Dha and Ni focus rather than Ri(as in charukesi) it feels so good and different. Thanks to Murali Gaanam HanuMAA anuMAA 🙏
