Bharat Ratna should be awarded to him ❤🙏🙏 He worked on the krithis of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma.After attending one of his concerts in 1934, Maharani Sethu Parvati Bai of Travancore was so impressed by his talent and scholarship that she invited him to come to Thiruvananthapuram to edit and popularise the compositions of Swati Tirunal. He succeeded Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar as Principal of the Swathi Thirunal College of Music at Thiruvananthapuram, a post he held for 23 years, until the age of 55. At the behest of the Government of India, became the Chief Producer of Carnatic music and promoted (at All India Radio, Madras from 1957 to 1960). In later life, he concentrated on concert performances and tutoring youngsters. He gave public concerts even after the age of 90. He was a Legend and very humble.

What a gem of piece! Semmangudi should have been awarded the Bharat Ratna than MS. Although MS also deserved it, but just listen to her guru? and listen to nowadays idiots singing. There is so much energy in him at such advanced age.Look how took the audience in sharp attention and the accompanying musicians tone their volume down automatically. Such was Semmangudi's presence.

Naadhab Brahmam VVS, One of the Top 3 Violinist after Lalgudi and MSG, never received the honour that he deserved more than some of the contemporary Sangita Kalanidhis Violinists, Yet he was as humble as before. @@Sreeprayag - Sri V Subramaniam I mentioned is the older of the ones with glasses. (the person to SSI's Right side) The person who really gave the back up voice. The younger one though had some lip movement didnt add any significant voice support that I could hear. perhaps was practicing with SSI in lip sync mode.
