YOU'VE DESCRIBED MY LIFE. Been getting increasingly sick for 21 yrs now, accelerated in the last 10 w/ the domino losing chain ...marriage, career, home, car & assets, respected reputation, ability to care for my child & even myself. I THOUGHT loss of self reliance & respect was my lowest. No. I'm NOW at my lowest. At this point I don't even consider myself human because if I am even awake I can't get out of bed - though I try EXTREMELY hard- for more than a few minutes at a time without becoming violently ill & collapsing or being carried right back to bed. Medical testing hasn't found anything major wrong lately (an unusual, dangerous & difficult to treat pneumonia that led to surgery, sepsis, long stay &recovery was last major) making me question my own sanity . The 4 people that haven't totally abandoned me wonder if I'm just depressed. Being trapped in my body in this state not knowing why nor how to get out of it-when it used to be strong, healthy, full of life & energy...well you'd think that's enough to depress any sane human. BUT, I'm not depressed, I'm beyond furious, depressed no. My psychiatrist agrees I don't appear depressed (as I did post partum, during divorce, during job/home/assets loss & bankruptcy) & is the one that asked me had anyone mentioned Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) to me. They have not. She's also the only one that told me I had been tested for & was shown to have Alpha-gal. I had no clue what either of these were, but she gave me the proper medical references so I could get a very general understanding so I could bring them up w/ my appropriate doctors. This has been extremely disappointing. Just like my autoimmune, fibro & gyno issues - they either weren't familiar w/ the subjects or tossed it off to another specialist to handle in the never ending medical ping pong game I've been trapped in for 2 decades. I honestly have given up hope at this point & am teaching my young teen to be as independent as possible because my instincts tell me his basically nonexistent mother will not be here to see him into young adulthood . I have always felt there's a true, medical reason for what's happened to my body. I definitely agree w/ the body keeps the score theory. I've never believed this was just all in my head. Especially the more I learned in recent years HOW MANY there are of us w/ similar stories. I'm by no means a medical person, but my field involved analysis & my training & gut has always told me the answer is there & would be found, maybe just not in my lifetime. I am really grateful for my psychiatrist because I believe she's putting me on the right track because that's how I came across this video - and am hearing THE ANSWERS EXISTS.

Thank You for this and bringing awareness to this! I am a C diff survivor. Had it for two years had to start doing my own research to finally tell the doctors to give me a fecal transplant even though that cured the Cdiff I still had bad side effects afterwards, one which was hormone imbalance did not know that I had a hormone in balance could get my OB doctor to draw blood other than an FSH went to my primary care doctor asked him to run a blood test on Me gave him a list of what I wanted after doing my research he drew drove from Arkansas to Houston to have someone look at my hormones. I am two weeks on hormone replacement, and it has changed my life. The auto immune problems that I had all symptoms have just about cleared. I do not understand how the medical field is so far behind on women’s hormones, and putting two & two together and actually treating us. Hormones are a huge component to women’s health. I guess we can Thank the huge report that came out two decades ago. I am thankful there are women doctors like you speaking up on behalf of all of us women suffering!

heart meds when the issues are not likely the heart (unless he got the shot, and then there is myocarditis), but the brain. Toprol/Metoprolol acts on the brain and does affect the heart. As a severe covid march 2020 (no shots, wouldn't, thankful for gut instinct and also legit mistrust for agencies that have NO interest in our health and safety) sufferer, needed ICU but they refused to admit me......now longhaulers 4 yeaRS ago, I can tell you, it's not likely cvd, but MCAS and "other things" like MTHFR, nutritional deficiencies. Doctors like her will help I just hope you can afford it since I can't.

Hi, I was in an unhealthy relationship & had Mastitis after I had my daughter but a year later before I had her I was diagnosed with Hoshimoto disease. She is now 13yrs old & doesn't have any health problems. In 2008 I had a Purferated stomach ulcer scariest time ever. 2019 I had an Anuryseum, just 6 days ago I had another Anuryseum. I'm laying here wondering what's next. Both Anuryseums have been Coiled. But tge first one left me with spinal nerve damage & chronic pain on my left, as I need a walking stick. I also take alot of pain killers just to get through the day which leaves me feeling like a zombie. I'm taking Neo mercazole 10mg 2xs a day. I also had Heart Surgery in March this year for a hole in my heart which the doctors picked up from my Purferated stomach Ulcer as I didn't know I was born with it my mother never told me. I had a ASD done & was successful. The next chapter is living my best life now that I'm single.
